August trip finally all arranged

Finally was able to book the last part of our August trip, as today was the day the 7-month DVC booking window opened up! So we now have the following to look forward to:

7 nights in off-site villa at Indian Creek. Really like it here, nice and close to the parks, and very relaxing way to start the holiday.
2 night at Universal RPR. On-site access, here we come (+ Harry Potter!)
3 nights at AKL Kidani Villas, 1 bedroom, Savannah view Haven't stayed at AKL since the kids were born over 6 years ago, so this will be great.
7 nights at Boardwalk Villas, 1 bedroom, standard view. Boardwalk is lovely to look out over, but lots of extra points for a long stay.

Direct flights at a reasonable price (for August) via Continental/Virgin codeshare. Looked at price of these earlier, and they are now more than £1000 more expensive than when we booked for the same flights

Lastly, already had a decent price on a Budget minivan via US Rentacar, but thanks to Wayne have hopefully saved even more money by booking via Dollar tonight and will invoke the cancellation insurance on the original booking.

I know I say the same to myself each time, but this is going to be a great trip

We are just outside the 7 month window for a few nights at a DVC resort.
Have stayed at Indian Creek a few times, and the location is perfect.

Not sure about the standard view availability at BWV right now, as that was the part we already had from a couple of months ago inside the 11-month window - it was the Kidani part that I booked last night, transferring 3 nights over. So, there are at least 3 more standard view days available in mid-August!

Hope you get your booking organised. It's great now that you can phone on the first day of the window and book the whole lot, rather those daily phone calls to book each incremental bit!
