Our last full day at WDW, and we're still tired from our previous late night. So, up at 8:00, but no swim. Off to Epcot!

Gee, we're at Epcot, whatever shall we do? Ummm. While we're waiting for our FP time for Mission: Space to come around, we do Cranium Command. While in the Wonders of Life, we decide on Mexico for dinner. Tip:Any payphone in WDW allows you to dial reservations for free. I think it's *88. No problem getting the PS. Then off we go to Mars. Yippee!

Now we're all a bit thirsty, so we decide to head over to Ice Station Cool. Watermelon is definitely my favourite, and Beverly is every bit as repulsive as I remembered (well, I had to check) After we've done our sampling, we head off to Canada. DH wants to thoroughly do all the pavilions this time, so we start with Oh Canada. Oh Dear! The movie is 21 years old, the announcer pronounces "eh" in a stilted manner, and some of the information seems, well, strange. For hours afterwards, we joked about having to go home to the caribou ranch. The impression the movie gives is that dog sledding is common in Canada, and our urban areas are closely surrounded by hinterlands. The latter may have been true when the film was made, but the former is probably as demographically common to the US. Needless to say, we were somewhat surprised. Also, our house (albeit microscopically small) was in the movie, as that is the correct angle for the CN tower. A more pleasant, less humorous surprise was the appearance of Off Kilter, who we were told had weekends off.

We hit England for lunch, since there's always room for fish and chips. It started to rain while we were eating -- outside -- but it was mostly drizzle, so we just bore with it. Interesting priority check: see who covers their food, and who covers their beer.

We stopped in Japan to wander through the store again, and get a picture taken with the Samurai on horseback. Then went through the American Adventure for the first time. Some really impressive animatronics. Afterwards, we looked in the stores in Italy, and Germany, and stopped to get some Becks (zwei bier, bitte. Danke).

Love bugs flew into my beer, so I stopped at the Outpost to get a Castle, which I split with DH.

In China, we shopped, and saw the new movie. I think, next to Mission:Space, my most magical moment of the whole trip was watching DH watch that movie.

In Norway, we rode the Maelstrom (10 minute standby), and had a Ringnes. You know, it tastes a lot like Castle to me, but I'm not a beer expert.

Now it was time for our PS at the San Angel Inn. The atmosphere of this restaurant is great, and the food was wonderful. I had the mole poblano (chicken in a spicy chocolate sauce -- does it get any better?) DH had the mahi mahi, and DS had the chicken in cheese sauce.. We all really liked our food.

After this, we were really tired, and DS was complaining of a sore leg, so we went back to our room without seeing Illuminations. But that's okay, we had a lovely view on Tuesday.

Next - Day 8 In which we go home

gotta run, Kim Possible's starting.

I guess I will have to try some of these beers you are talking about.......I had one in Germany Biergarten.....and one on the boardwalk.......because I know zip about beer.....I got a coors lite......everything sounds like you had a great time......thanks again

LOL @ Oh Canada

We saw it late.. like 8:30pm and we were beat... my DD9 said why is Canada so cheap they could not afford seats at their movie?? :p

Cool that you could see your house! Just a little south of the Caribou Ranch.

>>^..^<<

I have really enjoyed reading your trip reports. My husband loved the Becks Beer. It was the only time he didn't bug me about going back to the hotel for a rest period. :p
