August POP'ers....where are you?

Count us in...just found out we're making a last minute trip. We booked 2 rooms at Pop this AM for July 31-Aug 4.

Will anyone else be there then? Will I be seeing any windows adorned w/ Lime Green Mickey's. Last Nov I was let down and didn't run into one single fellow DISer at the resort or in the parks.

I have two rooms booked at Pop at the end of August. It's me, DH, DS (20) and DS's girlfriend. We have been to Disney many, many times, but our son's girlfriend has never really been anywhere. She is giddy with excitement. This is our first time at Pop. I need two rooms, so I decided to go with a value this trip. Everyone seems to like it, so I have high hopes

8/28 - Arrival in the evening
8/29 - Crystal Palace breakfast
8/29 - Cape May Clambake dinner
8/30 - Chef's de France
8/31 - Boma dinner

I don't think I've checked in on this thread yet, so here we are! One month from today, so I guess I can start counting the days! I don't want to wish my summer away (I teach!), but I am looking forward to August 5th!!!

We are going for the first time (since I was a preteen) from August 26 to Sept. 1st. I have everything packed, I have a highlighted schedule (I guess you would call it that..lol-just has our PS on it and what we want to see and what we can see with all our kids being under 8 and not super tall kids) : one to make sure we are organized and two then we can relax. We have done our PS (since WDW does not call it a reservation anymore)

I'm getting sooo excited! We check into POP on August 15th. Bringing DS, DM, sister and her 2 DS's. They've never been!!! I can't decide if I am in panic state or excited state. I feel the adrenaline kicking in with getting everything planned. We have P&P party tickets for 8/18. Anyone know how early you can get into the parks during that event. I am trying to find a link to the P&PP info, but I'm one of the few still on dialup and it takes forever. Also trying to figure out what to do about dinner before it starts. I've never done table service restaurants at WDW always counter service so I guess I don't even realize what there is at MK so of course I have no ADR's. What about that restaurant that rotates at Epcot? What is it called? I was there in December 06, but can't remember. Are you guys getting excited? Can ya hardly wait!!!!

Hi Crossfamily, our family will be at POP arriving on the 21st and departing on the 29th. We are actually driving into Orlando on the 18th and staying offsite until Tues morning. We have a standard room. Look for the decorated windows, it'll be us.

Dydo, I say look at the menu's on allearsnet. com. That way you can see what appeals to everyone in your family. Then from there. Call Disney dining to try and get your ADR's. Remember, you do not need ADR's for CS(counter services) Only, ADR's for TS(Table services). Have a great vacation!!

Oh, I don't know about any rotating resteraunt hopefully someone else, can answer.

We're coming to POP for our Anniversary , our son's First Birthday and our friend's are also coming with us to celebrate their Anniversary !!! It should be fun, fun, fun!

Our paperwork arrived at AAA yesterday......We went over it last night with the kids.......I think DW and I are more excited than they are!!!
Also, I checked rates with Alamo just saved another $30 on our car rental!!!
29 days and counting!!!!
Aug. 10-17!!! 2 rooms at POP!!

8/10-8/17 for DW and i too and AAA said we can pick up the paperwork tomorrow. i had been keeping an eye on car rental prices for a while and a couple months ago i checked alamo prices and got a car for the week that was easily $50 cheaper than anything i had seen prior to that and since then. wasnt planning on reserving that early, but you cant beat $175 (total) for an 8 day rental.

29 days is gonna fly by!
