august or sept

I'm wondering about the month of august for disneyworld is it as busy as june and july and would it be better to go then than to pull the kids out of school I could spend two weeks that way or only about 9 or 10 days in sept or oct which would be best thanks dismemaw

I've gone the end (last full week without Labor day) of August and I've gone the middle of Sept. Not much difference except that Sept might be a little less crowded due to school starting up but I wouldn't hesitate to go the end of August again so as not to take the kids out of school.

WDW dies down quite a bit the last week of August cause the local kids go back to school and so do many other states.

We went in September of last year, and it was very very slow. Most rides were walk-ons. This year, we are gong in August so we don't have to pull DD out of school again. I hope the crowds won't be too bad.
