I'm still trying to figure out our plans for 2018. Factoring in crowds, weather, and possible discounts, which would you choose: 8/10-8/17 (which includes our daughter's birthday) or 11/16-11/23 (which includes Thanksgiving day & we'd be leaving the next day), and why?

Due to school and dance schedules, these are the only weeks we're considering at this time. Holiday parties/decorations and Food & Wine are not a factor (been there, done that).

I guess it basically comes down to August heat or pre-Thanksgiving crowds? Thank you!

For me and my family - pre-thanksgiving crowds over the heat anytime. We went Thanksgiving weekend and it was crowded but not crazy crowded. I'm going in September and am already dreading the heat.

I'd say it depends on what you'd like to do. If you are staying at Yacht or Beach Club and want to spend time at the waterparks, August could be a really good time. But if you want to spend a lot of time in the parks, November for me too!

I would choose November over the heat. Nice time of yeat to go. Plus if budget would allow and dates work out you could have the choice of a MVMCP !
