August minivan rates

Has anyone been able to get a good rate on a minivan in August? Preferably with National. I have one with Dollar, but they are awful with the additional charges for a full size minivan, and the 2nd driver (spouse). I do not like to rent with Dollar fo those reasons...........

I like to get things booked early, we leave in less than 2 months, Iwould like to get this settled, LOL. It seems like the last few years, National came down before this. Right now I get rates of over $500 with National for a minivan, using every possible code combination I can find (via mousesavers, and other routes).

I cannot figure out why they are doing this......... it makes me crazy.

Same for me. I'm holding a 10 day minivan rental in August with Dollar at a total cost of about $440 using the KISS3 code. I haven't seen anything for National that comes close to the $440. I expect the rates will drop once it gets closer to August. Most of the deals I see now only go through early July at best.
