August Flights to Vegas

Southwest has flights in Aug to Vegas for around 200/one way from Manchester NH. Everyone says August is an off season for Vegas so I am wondering if the flights will be less expensive or is this a normal price?

While I can't speak for every city, I've noticed many less flights to Vegas and higher prices. Atleast the good thing with Southwest is that once you book, you can rebook if the prices go down and get a credit.

BTW, August is a great time to visit Vegas. We've gotten some good hotel prices and it isn't very crowded at all. Have fun!

I think it is waaaay too soon to book August flights to Vegas. Keep looking at prices, but I would expect them to drop in April or May. I don't know how the fares are from MHT but I would consider $400 expensive to Vegas. IMO, I think you can get a flight for under $300.

ADDED: Currently the lowest fare from MHT-LAS is $178 (roundtrip) on Northwest and is valid thru June 20th. There are other lower fares in the $238-$258 price range valid thru March 10th.

I think it's high. Now, granted, I'd fly out of Boston but... I was toying with the idea of visiting Las Vegas sometime in the spring. It would've required connecting flights in both directions, but I think the total fare I found (early last week) was a shade under $221.
