August Boardwalk Meeting 2001

I was away for two weeks and just returned from WDW and had the opportunity to attend my first meeting at the Boardwalk. I am not sure if this information has been previously reported. Anyway I will provide you with several highlights. First, it was pointed out Wilderness Lodge sales are very strong ( 60% +) have been sold and is expected to be sold out by Nov. 2001. The BC is expected to be open Sept. 2002 and there is no date when presales will begin. However, the price will be $ 3 to $ 5 higher. There will be 208 BC units available. I viewed the site and it is in a great location. Disney recently implemented a charge for valet parking, which DVC members do not have to pay when staying on points. The remainder of the meeting was a discussion concerning the purchase of add on points. If anyone has any additional information please feel free to add. Enjoy!!
