I haven't decided if/when I am going to tell them. In 2005 we went on the Mexican Riviera and they didn't know we were doing a cruise until they saw the boat!!!

Keep it a secret...but make sure they pack for the weather, it can get chilly up there!

anyone heard of the Delta hotel in Vancouver? I think it was delta..is supposed to be nice..

We think part of the fun of a Disney Cruise is knowing that you will be going on it soon. Like Christmas, your kids know it's comming and they are excited about it long before. We booked the Alaskan Cruise the first week. Way too long of a wait for young kids. Too long if a wait for anyone really.

I do that too! It's a more magical form of daydreaming when an upcoming Disney trip is involved.

WOW we are under 50 weeks to go, less than a year

anyone booked airfare yet?

Would love to drive it this year, but even with 3 weeks vacation I could not see all I would want to, so its to the air in 2011

No, I think we will just do the drive, but we might opt to take the train instead.

I don't think USAir has opened their dates that far out yet, I think it's 330 days out. We'll use them and either book with our $99 companion voucher or our travel vouchers we received last month when getting bumped from our Heathrow to Philly flight.

Sure Andrew....rub it in that you can drive to the port if you wish. It is a nice feeling to not have to make plane ressies.

I haven't even thought about airfare yet! I'm thinking about my flight to Spain in a little over two weeks...I can only handle one flight at once! I am not a fan of flying.

I can't believe it's under a year now. We're going on the WBTA so we're almost down to single digits for that. Time truly does fly!

I'm in ct and would drive,but could see all I would want to with the time for vacation I have, but in 2012 this could be a great road trip

well that all depends on when the East coast half of the family arrive and what we have planned for them. I am sure Alana wants to show her East coast sister and mom things around here, but there is a lot to see in Vancouver and Victoria is just a ferry ride away.

I believe those east coast family members (Delaware, to be exact) are talking of flying into Vancouver and not our beautiful city of Seattle. They really have the nerve!
