PLAN A sounds the best to both Terry and myself.

Yes "PLAN A" is also our favourite ... but it also depends on the ship :boat: arrival time at Nassau ... so it's always better to have a "PLAN B" as backup :)
Laura

NO!
They drive :moped: on the LEFT hand side!!!!! :rotfl:
But ... we can always rent a bike at Castaway Cay :rotfl2:

Oh Laura, were is your sense of adventure... :moped: on the wrong side of the road could be interesting, we may meet some new friends (Head-On)

The bikes on Castaway Cay sounds safer.

(the salesman and I didn't see eye/to/eye about how much money our old car was worth) :teeth: He decided to see things my way in the end.

Beckie, if you could :earseek: persuade a car salesman, for sure you can get what you want from a Nassau taxi driver :) :rotfl:

This way we wouldn't have to rush for excursion meet times.

Of course with this planning we don't have to rush for excursion meet times.
We have to rush all day long!

But GRUMP we'll be rushing and having fun all day...If we did the excursion's it would be hurry up, rush, then wait...on other people that don't rush and don't care if they keep you waiting. :)

We need to make sure we do some shopping at the Pirates of Nassau Museum, read we could purchase temporary tattoos for Pirates Night on the ship. pirate:

Beckie

Laura: That man didn't know who he was dealing with. :sad2: pirate:

WOW, Beckie, I like to go shopping for ... :confused3 TATOOS !!!!! :cool1:

Never had one in all my life ! WHERE are we going to "print" it ?

:headache: Yesterday I had a hard BAD day at work, so this morning I went shopping on my way home : I puchased a very pretty ?pantsuit .....
I mean a long jacket (with 4 pockets) and trousers in stone-washed silk, colour is azure . Thought I can wear it in casual nights..... ::MinnieMo

:goodvibes Of course I HAD to buy a nice blouse to go with it , but I could not make up my mind ... so I ended buying three collared t-shirts :rotfl2: ... and now I'm thinking they are ...maybe ...too much casual !!!!!! :earseek:

Can't wait to board our Wonder ship !!!!! :cloud9:

:wave:laura

Laura

Sounds like your off to a great start...$$$. The pantsuit will be beautiful, as far as the shirts being to causal you can always use them at Universal or WDW, they will be great for wearing at the parks. Are you sure they wouldn't work for the cruse?

I'm not sure where we'll put the Tatoos, I guess it will depend on how big they are... :rotfl2: (I have to remember to purchase some extra ones for the boys)

Sorry to hear that you had a bad day at work, but I think you did the only reasonable thing SHOPPING. Hope the rest of the week is going better. I have started a new schedule at my part-time job working longer hours but fewer days. So my time on the DIS has been cut back, I always check the threads but sometime I just can't login and post. (at work :earsboy: )

Have a great week-end, Go Shopping.

Beckie,

How is your new schedule at work: what days are you off? :confused3

Marco and I love your excursions planning. Thanks for the Palo reservations! We all will enjoy their ITALIAN :cake: food very much!

Unfortunately we are not going to join you at Castaway excursions: as you know we both are wearing glasses ... and without them we are lost.
:scared1:
So we do not feel confortable in activities on the water, where we can loose or break our glasses :(

Anyhow we will be glad to take pictures of you and of course watch your adventures :)

:rotfl: Don't know yet how much adventurous we will be there ... maybe we can ride bikes :rotfl: :)

Just :cloud9: dreaming about OUR vacation !!!!! and ;) cleaning up my kitchen while singing :Mickey loves mamboooooo !!!
Love those DECK PARTIES !!!!!!!!

Laura

Just a quick note to tell you all our passport request are in the mail and we should have them back in appx 30 days.

We received a package from DCL with all the excursions listed.
(Terry is still looking though the book)

All shopping for myself is completed. Tell Marco I now have four pair of sandals.

We have started shopping for Terry...

I understand about the water excursions, if you aren't comfortable I would bypass them also. If you're only worried about your glasses they do make straps that will make sure they stay in place.

Water Sports Accessories
Soft braided cloth tube, foam filled for solid floatation with adjustable slider for a snug fit. Fits over most frames ...

See you soon

Ciao, Beckie & Terry! :wave2:

DGH is asking: how could you wear four pairs of sandals in three days? How many feet do you have, he asks? :rotfl:
waternoose2.jpg

Myself, on the contrary, I am wondering what colors and shape did you pick this time! I am very curious!

Here in Italy we are having some sunny days, but it still is quite cold and I can't buy sandals yet :umbrella:
We are having daily heavy storms ... :rotfl: we feel we are in Florida! :rotfl:

BUT I could purchase a pretty knitted "cardigan" (cotton, blue) which I might wear in the indoor chilly airconditioned public areas :cool1:.
I also plan to make a short stop at Hilo Hatties, the Store of Hawaii: it's in the same shopping mall of Ron Jon's in Orlando, so I am confident to convince DGH to stop there, while heading toward Royal Pacific Resort.
031.jpg

I do need some shopping on light sundresses! :sunny:

We have already our new passports "with electronic bar code" to comply with new US immigration regulamentation.
We also plan to bring along with us other ID documents, becasue DCL will "confiscate" our passports, while boarding ... and we need a photo ID to board again after shore excursions ... can you imagine what DGH said when we first discovered that "we don't have anymore our documents and we need a ID document to re-board the ship ..." :rotfl:

Thank you for the "strap" information ... but simply we don't feel comfortable at all without "land" under our feet :)

Ciao

Just a note to tell you we are almost ready to leave for Wilderness Lodge...Tell Marco I'll try and find out about the late dinner reservations on the EEMH...Also found another pair of shoes today :earsboy:

Will post when we return home on June 5th.

Love
Beckie

Laura, I'm home

What a trip, rain, rain, rain...but everyone had a great time and all our scheduled events went great.

Before I forget tell Marco that the resturants aren't opened later on EEMH days. They still close at normal park closing times, so just make a PS for the latest time available. I can also say other then the special wristband you are given for EEMH I hated the parks during the extended hours, this could have been because the crowds were unbalivable, all the big rides had long waits. It might not be so bad when the resorts aren't full.

My take on the crowds is because of the new tickets...You have the option of purchasing the Magic Your Way Base Ticket without park hopping options so everyone that didn't purchase park hopping options goes to the park during the day so they can attend extra evening magic hours that night making the park unbelievably crowded the entire day, making the extra hours just a continuance of a crowded day.

The Early Morning Magic Hour still worked in giving you a jump on the day with the parks very doable on those days because of the head start, and fast passes. All the parks were very crowded, I was glad we had other activities planned so we hit the parks early then went back to the resort.

My group just will not stand in a line that is longer than 15 min.

Now I have to dream about our cruise...

Ciao, Beckie and Terry !!!!!! :flower:
Glad to see your trip to WDW went great, even with some rain! :umbrella:
BTW could you post a picture of Terry?

 We are curious to "meet" him ... before meeting him on the cruise! :cool1:

I finally can have a little rest ... our first testing day went smooth and my students did great with their written composition on Italian literature.

It's Sunday afternoon here and I am dreaming about our Cruise ... :boat:
and WONDERing:
 should I buy some more shoes ?
Where could I find nice sandals? I would like to purchase sandals with gems on them.
Ciao

Laura

I will try and find a photo of Terry to post he is always either taking the picture or not with us. I'm never in many photo's either :confused3

I'm glad all you students did well with the testing but, they had a great teacher.

Sandals, lets see I know a department store that's having a great sale.

I need to call DCL tomorrow to check on a few things. (massage)

Hope your Sunday was relaxing.

:earsgirl: What kind of treatment are you going to have at their SPA ? Did you book REAS, correct ? are you having :earsboy: :earsgirl: massages ?

I wish I could "get" Marco into this, but he had (just once) a massage at Vero beach... while having BAD back PAIN ... and he doesn't like SPA that much ! :sad2:
I'm thinking on booking a relaxing scalp - massage and blow dry AFTER our day in Nassau ; I expect to be rather tired and HOT ... not willing to "rush" to get "ready and pretty" for the dress up night ! ::MinnieMo

:thewave: We are ALMOST going : can't wait !!!!!

I love dreaming of our vacation :fish: while rating my students' compositions !!!! "Work" isn't so "heavy" that way !!!!!!! ;)

CIAOOOOOOOOOO, laura :wave2:
