Does anyone know if they have summer items like beachwear year round in CA?

There's a Quiksilver store in DTD and they carry Roxy clothing. Didn't go to DTD except to stand in line at 6am!
DL's birthday was great! 10,000 die-hard pin/DL fanatics stayed overnight and were allowed to line up in DCA for food/drinks and bathrooming. They were processed, given wristbands and their gold Mickey Ears - The 50th logo is on the front and "July 17, 2005" is embroidered on the back! (Different than the ones that can be purchased) At 6am they stopped the line into DCA and began a new one at La Brea Bakery area. We got in line in front of Libby Lu. At 7, the DCA line was moved into DL...took 75 minutes to move the line of people who were all wearing their ears and we watched excitedly while we were allowed to wait at the entrance gates. Everyone was in a "Birthday Party" mood...some lines were doing the wave and we cheered and waved as the Monorail went by loaded with DLH guests! At 8:15 we entered through the gates and were given our ears and special commemorative maps! They also gave out Birthday cupcakes at all of the food locations! We saw Eisner, the new guy, Art Linkletter, Walt's daughter and ARNOLD!! The park was not as crowded as expected (50,000). They never closed the entrance gates...in fact, they were still selling tickets and handing out hats throughout the day. We left at 5 and people were still coming in!
We immediately went to Space Mtn when we entered and Brynée was on and off within 30 minutes

! I got FPs for her for later; I've never done well on SM and didn't want to chance it as we had the whole day + a drive home ahead of us! The "birthday ceremony" was cool and it was an amazing sight to see the hub and Main Street filled with thousands of people - a virtual sea of Gold Mickey Ears

It was a fantastic experience! (We had viewed the fireworks from the hub on Saturday night!)
Eve - Wait times at SM were over 2 hours by mid-morning. The best thing to do is head there first and check the wait time and also get FPs. Brynée was able to ride SM twice and saved 1 FP as a memento. Or, on a regular day, Brynée usually heads to Matterhorn w/DH and I go to SM for the FPs. Matterhorn doesn't have FP but the lines move fairly quickly.
One store in the Castle was dedicated to 50th merchandise. We found the hard to find 50th pins there. If you are on Main Street, check the candy counters in the candy store areas; we found the Mickey + Ears 50th pins in crystal bowls there while they were sold out in store locations!
If anyone needs any DL/DCA tips, just ask!!
