Cathy - Sorry to hear about the DC scare! Hope you are OK now.

My Castle Visa Card arrived today and Tink is also pictured on it with Pixie Dust!! The 3 digit security code is the same as my previous card so I'll have DH try the old card to see if it still works. He may be fine with the new card though. Brynee was thrilled with her card until I told her she can't use it until she has a driver's license which won't be for over a month (if she passes ).

Stacey - Thanks for the info re: the docs. I think I'll print mine out this weekend and start filling out what I can.

Thanks for your concern everyone. I guess I didn't have time to worry too much because I didn't hear about it until it was over so I knew it was brief. Jess just called me from someone's cell phone and they sound like they are having fun. They have lights out at 11pm but they have to be at breakfast by 7am, at home it is 10pm lights out on school nights (6am wake up to get the bus).

I forgot about all the docs we have to fill out. We have an appointment to get our passports going on Saturday. It will be 11 1/2 weeks until we leave so I hope that is enough time. I will ask them about it.

We have freeze warnings tonight Yuck!
We also had a fire warning today for brush fires because of dryness and wind.

Cathy - Glad to hear Jess is having a great time! DDTraci went to DC & NY when she was in the 8th grade...Brynee's trip was canceled due to 9/11 so she opted for WDW last year to make up for it

Barb - Just got back from Target and my old Visa worked! So, now DH will have his choice of which card he wants to carry.

Hi everyone, just checking in. Sara is at science camp this week. I chaperoned yesterday and today. DH was there the rest of the time. They'll be home tomorrow afternoon. They've had a great time, I had fun while I was there but I'm beat. Didn't get much sleep, they had squeeky mattresses and I felt like I woke up every 5 minutes. Weather was great - low 80's today. They had rain and hail on monday but it cleared up after that.
I'm off to bed!

Kazu, the 50TH MICKEY MOUSE LOGO PIN is an open edition pin and it will be available for a while. Hopefully it will be still for sale in August it is not just limited to May sales only.

Welcome Patricia1 to this fantastic group of cruisers. Let me introduce my family: myself, Barb; DH (husband) Jay, and DD (daughter) Alexa who will be 11 when we sail, her birthday is 2 weeks from today. We have late seating and this is our 5th Disney cruise.
If you have any questions just ask but then after 5 cruises you may be able to answer some questions too.

This is our 2nd Disney cruise. It is myself (Cathy), my DH (Steve) and our DD (Jessica) who is 13. We all have been talking on this thread for a year now and it is finally getting closer! I hope this works out well for Disney so they get a ship for California. They will need to find an island to make a place like Castaway Cay!
