It's already Thursday and our last sea day. We eat breakfast in Lumiere's for what will be the last time on this cruise, change into swimsuits, and head up to deck 10 to sun. We never saw any chair hogging on this cruise and never had a problem getting deck chairs either.
Capt. Tom told us at the noon announcement that we had 7300 feet of water under the keel. This is about only one third as deep as the water on the Eastern which was 22,500 feet deep. The water was also very calm, with nary a ripple today.
DW went to Studio Sea to secure tickets for the galley tour which we had never seen, while I stayed in the Quiet Cove pool. Lunch was at Topsiders since we wanted to stay in our swimwear all day.
At 1:45 we went to the Goofy pool to watch the ice carving, and then back to Quiet Cove and the adult games - How many ping pong balls can you stuff in your bathing suit.
All too soon we had to make our way to our cabin to dress for our semi formal night in Lumiere's. DS(19) had the fettucine tonight while the rest of had the turkey w/bread & fruit stuffing, cranberry sauce and baked sweet potatoes. I aso had a lobster tail on the side. Dessert was of course the chocolate lava cake w/double chocolate sauce, and DW had the amaretto cheesecake w/rasp. sauce as well.
After changing out of our fancy duds, we went to see Disnay Dreams. We liked this Ann Marie better than the one in 2001.
DS(15) and I went back to Lumiere's at 11:15 and looked at the dessert spread that was there. I just took pictures and video as I was still stuffed from dinner.
Tomorrow is C.C. While we love it there, it also marks our last day aboard the Magic. If only they could work it out that we stopped there first and had a sea day on Friday. I would like that schedule better, but this way Disney saves the best for last.
