Welcome! :goodvibes
What a great cruise to pick for your honeymoon.
You will soon know a lot about cruising if you hang around the cruise board for a while and if you have any questions, just let us know.

I added you to the list of cruisers in my first post and should you decide to join the FE, which YES, is popular, you need to let me know your first names and your stateroom number.

Sounds awesome! I read up on it and would love to do the FE. My name is AmandaJoy and I'll be with my fiance Zachary. We are in stateroom 6192.

Hello everyone, our names are Carl and Lisa this will be our first ever cruise. We are coming over from Australia for our 10th wedding anniversary with our 3 children our DD Reese will be 11, DS1 Cameron will be 8 and DS2 Charlie will be 3 and we are all very excited. Not only is this our first cruise but also the first overseas holiday for Carl and the kids and after the cruise we will be spending 10 nights at WDW and 10 nights in New York. We LOVE Disney and spend most weekends watching a Disney movie so we can not wait :)

Hi Susie... We are in 12510... I specifically wanted the bump out in this room and was grateful that we got it. We had 12506 last month on the Dream and it was amazing... I am thrilled with whatever we got.. As long as we are on a Disney cruise, I am good.. :)

I think we might be your neighbours we are in 12512 :)

Hi everyone!

This will be our first cruise as a family! It will be 5 of us: me, DH, DD(turning 7 on cruise yay!), DD, 5, and DS,2. I love how Labor Day is late this year so we can take our first cruise late summer and not miss any school! We originally were looking at booking a 4B, but saw that the concierge rooms weren't too crazy so we ended up booking 12004. Hope we made the right decision! :)

You will be right next door...:) I have to say that you have my favorite of all the Cat T's on the boat.. We were in 12506 on the Dream in February and it is just like 12512 with the larger veranda... Glad to have you as a neighbor..:)

Welcome... Glad to have you with us.... I too was so happy that Labor day fell so late in 2015.. I too agree about concierge pricing as it was affordable compared to the rest of the summer..It looks like we have at least 6 cabins in concierge already on our meet group.. :)

Just off the magic and booked this cruise so excited there is a page here already want to do the FE have a question though we already have a good amount of people is it going to be cut off at a certain number either way is fine just want to know what to plan on spending pp with my budget Traveling will be me,dh,dd8 and ds turning 6 sept 1st while on the cruise look forward to getting to know you all

This is our first ever cruise so we are slowly learning everything. One question we do have is dinner attire on nights that aren't formal or semi formal, is nice shorts and tshirts ok for young boys or would it be better to put them in long pants and a shirt with a collar? And for adults are men fine in nice shorts or jeans or would that be frowned upon? And can they wear tshirts or should we pack shirts with collars? And for me do I need to be "dressed up" or would I be fine in Capri pants, jeans or jeans with a nice shirt or even a maxi dress? I have asked this on the Facebook page as well so sorry to everyone that reads this twice :)

Carlnlisa, where are you coming from? I'm trying to talk my friends in Melbourne into joining us. School scheduling seems to be a problem.

We are coming from Moranbah in Central Queensland. School was a bit of a concern for us but with the way we have scheduled everything and Qld school holiday dates our kids will only miss 2 weeks and we have spoken with the principle who is going to organise for the kids to do the end of term exams early and anything important will either be given to them before we go or emailed to us while we are away.

You will be fine with nice shorts and a nice T-shirts for your kids. Disney asks for cruise casual for non formal nights and a nice sun dress, or capris with a blouse of polo will be more than okay.
This will be our 16th cruise and we usually wear jeans (or capris for me) with a nice T-shirt or polo shirt. Relax, you are on vacation and when travelling from far away you will have limits on what to bring. Don't stress about it. Even on formal night there are lots of people just in nice trousers (and we have even seen jeans), blouses and shirts. And yes, there are those who do dress up to the nines, but it is up to you.
Just ask away if you have any more questions. :thumbsup2

Welcome!:goodvibes
So exciting to have another family joining.
You are going to LOVE the Disney Fantasy, such a beautiful ship and so much to do and see.
We are staying a week at WDW too. Have you made plans yet, where you are going to stay?

Oh, and btw I added you to the list of cruisers in my first post.

We haven't booked anything yet (our travel agent is waiting for the dates to be bookable) but we are hoping to stay at the Grand Floridian villas. We have gone over all the attractions, dining options and entertainment on the WDW website and have a list of everything we want to try and fit in :)

Thank you, the formal and semi formal nights don't worry us to much that is pretty straight forward but cruise casual throws me a bit with all the different threads i have read in the past where one post will say T-shirts are fine but a different post will say they aren't :worried:

My DD and her friend, also traveling with us, will be 11 at cruise time also, as well as a few others in our group. They will have a blast together.

I am loving that there are so many kids similar ages. My 3 can be very shy and introverted the boys more so then my DD so I am hoping if they are around kids the same age they will come out of their shell a bit and make some friends

Yes, I know it will still take a while until they release the prices for summer 2015. I am waiting for our DVC window to open - which is still quite a while away. :lmao:
We just stayed at the Villas at the Grand Floridian in February and loved it. Beautiful place! :thumbsup2
Will this be your first visit to WDW?

Don't worry about what to wear. This will be our 16th cruise and we have seen LOADS of different styles and no one has been turned away. As long as you feel comfortable and it looks nice, just wear it. T-shirt, Polos, blouses - you will see a mix of everything. :goodvibes
