Hi everyone! It's been awhile since I've posted. There has been so much going on.

I am still trying to understand how the FE works so I have a few questions.

Do I give a gift to everyone on the list or do I give one general gift for each cabin? It doesn't matter, it is up to you

Do I give a gift each day or once during the entire trip?It doesn't matter, it is up to you

Are the gifts homemade or store bought? It doesn't matter, it is up to you

What is the average dollar amount spent on a FE gift? I don't know the answer to this one

Can anyone provide suggestions for possible FE gifts? I know that some people like to bring something that is indicative of their home town.

I don't think the FE is meant to be stressful, I think it is meant to be fun! I don't think I will put my name on things that I give away, like so many did on my other cruise, because I like it to be a surprise! It isn't a contest. That said, the craftiness (in a good way) and generosity of some people is amazing.

I agree with everything Debbie said , this is my first time doing it too and i kind of was stressing it till i took a deep breath and realized all the ? you asked it is not the gift it is the thought behind it . you can find alot of things in a dollar store , I have a place in NY and NJ called amazing savings for all kinds of gifts for all ages besides my family likes to do crafty things as well . It is all up to you . I started first to see how many people we had and then i made a list from there it was easy . hope this helps

Thank you! I am getting so excited for the cruises to get here, but it also means the end of summer and back to school for us, so I am trying to enjoy the waiting time!

Any chance of squeezing in? We did the FE Exchange on the 2010 Eastbound Transatlantic and it was lots of fun. If not, oh well -- less to carry... <g>
