Just wanted to give my 2 cents in on the SCHOOl thing, I am a teacher in Philly and we are supposed to report to work on Sept. 1st!!!! Too bad I 'll be poolside with a cool drink in hand!! My coworkers are soooooo jealous!

Going back to school before Labor Day is just unamerican :lol

When I was a kid we never went back before the Monday AFTER labor day. To me, that is when school should start.

Hello All... Im glad all my DIS buddies were able to get on the 10AM shuttle too..I would have hated to ride over with a bunch of strangers.....

My kids go back to school on the 7th.. very early for us.. which means I better get all my stuff together before we leave because we dont come home from florida til the afternoon of the 6th...

I know crazy thought to go back before Labor Day, our kids actually start on the7th also. But the teachers here in Philly have three days of Meetings!!! UGH!!! Glad I'll be cruisin'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As I said before, I am so excited to be cruising ( This is our first trip EVER , our 10th anniversary and our kids don't know and will not until the day we sail) I look on these boards everyday. All of you have such great information and ideas, and it makes the trip all the exciting with all this planning.

Um, I don't think that 21 will fit on the shuttle with all the luggage. Do they have two shuttles? Seems to me that there was space for 10, maybe 12.

I remember a big passenger van with three rows of seats. Maybe four? And then there's all the luggage.

I think that bigger one is the one I've heard about Bobby! That'll fit our group just fine;

Since someone mentioned luggage, exactly how much is everyone taking. I have to admit, we travel very light. I use totes bags, they hold quite bit and then fold up int small pouches. We've been traveling with them for years now. We each have our own and they always are big enough for four days worth of clothing complete outfits and then some. We'll also have a luggage carry on that will fit the dressy outfits and DH's tux. So in all I'm thinking 5 carrry on's, (one will just be shoes) and the garmet bag. I'll do laundry once or twice, doesn't bother me. This way we can just do carry on on the airplane. I hate checking luggage.

they better have a bigger shuttle than last time or knowing how anxious this crew is we will all be sitting on each others laps just to get on that 10AM shuttle. LOL

The post that I got the information on about the 10AM shuttle said it was very organized which is an improvement in itself.. last time in 2002 it was pretty much first come first serve.
