Ha ha! My DD keeps trying to convince me to buy her more dresses as this and this and this and this would be good for the cruise. She already has many, and most never get worn. She thinks she is girlie, but shorts and tank tops are the rule right now. :):goodvibes:goodvibes

Lovedi this nicer day. Just saw a Union game. Fun!

And, all the talk of FE, you would think it would get me to start to make our FE.

I watched the Union game with my youngest DD on tv:thumbsup2 We live in Delaware County but have never been to a game.

I can't watch tv right now because she is playing some cheer leading game on the X-box kinnect:rolleyes2

Was the first Union game I went to. Kids had been to some without us. We live on the other side of the city, but wasn't a bad drive. My little one is a good soccer player, so she really enjoyed seeing it. We were mid field and had great seats.

And yes, if I had not demanded bedtime, DD would be dancing in front of the xbox and no tv for me either!

On the newer ships, at least I can say for the Dream, expecting the same on the Fantasy, one side has a fish and the other side now has a sea horse.

My daughter is a sea horse fanatic.....really, she has them everywhere. Jewelry, clothes, books, posters. If we have a seahorse outside our stateroom door, she would be thrilled.

Missy has been asking me for the FE list so I converted the list to a spreadsheet which she prefers.

I will update it as information becomes available like stateroom numbers. For the moment, there is a questions column which I will eventually delete when all the information is filled in.

For those who want a copy, please feel free to download it from here:

Thanks Jeff! Now I just have to figure out what exactly I am going to do for the FE this time. I have a couple of ideas, just can't make up my mind.

Hi Pudo
Laurenza can't decide on a fav character, but Cinderella was her favorite since she started talking :).
Thanks for the FE list, are days going to be assigned, or just do what we wish??? Sorry if I've missed info.

Well, you may have a 50/50 shot at it depending upon which side of the ship you are on... :)

So just wondering what everyone is planning for there excursions? We are thinking of doing Bernard's Tours in St Maarten and using a Disney vendor to go to St John when we stop at St Thomas

We are going to St. John's too...Trunk Bay, but we are going to just take the ferry on our own. We'll beat the crowds getting there and scope out our little piece of heaven on the beach before the tours even arrive.:cool2:

OK Thanks, I'll add Cinderella for her on the spreadsheet.

There aren't any assigned days, people can do their own thing. I just wanted to make people aware that if everybody does it on the first day or two then the fun ends quickly so we usually wait a couple of days to stretch it out.

We do usually do are own things but since we are there a shorter time compared to St Maarteen and going to a whole other island and knowing how crazy afternoon traffic is in St Thomas I just feel more comfortable doing it through the ship so they can't leave me behind :scared1:

I know what you are saying....We will probably try to get there as early as week can, then leave by the time we are ready for lunch. Gotta get back and do that shopping in St. Thomas anyway!

St. Thomas we are doing the Butterfly Farm & the Gondola ride to the mountain top & back. We aren't big beach people. DH doesn't swim & I can't snorkel, so that leaves out a lot of excursions. In St. Marteen we are doing the 2 sides of the island tour. We are doing Disney planned excursions, because I worry about them leaving without us. These 3 excursions are fairly cheap, too. We will probably do some shopping & just looking around, too.

I checked out the two flags tour for St. Marteen too but it left at 8:30 a.m.:scared1:

My wife wants to do some jewelry shopping and it may conflict with that:confused3

We did the jewelry shopping in Nassau a few years ago. I spent some inheritance money. I am not a major shopper, so we will just do a little in the time they drop us off in the shopping districts.

The older we get 8:30 am doesn't seem to be so early anymore. Lately I've been waking up earlier & earlier. All we have to do is leave the outside curtain open and the sun will wake me up.

On our first cruise we had assigned days, but it was understood that you could actually deliver at your convenience. It worked out great in that the gifts were spread out over 9 days. On my last cruise most of the gifts were delivered in the first 2 days. We'd get exited to see what was in our FE just to find empty pockets for the last half of the cruise.

Nassau is much more expensive than St. Marteen. Three years ago I upgraded my DW's wedding bands to blue diamonds at a great price:thumbsup2

But we had to have them sized and come back later that afternoon. The 8:30 a.m. time was the only option that I saw for the excursion and that may bring us back too late to shop and have time in case adjustments need to be made.

We went and got Godiva chocolates in St. Thomas and had them delivered to the ship. We paid for them by credit so that we could get a refund if they didn't make it to the ship:scared1: But they made it just fine:)

Exactly! That's why it is best if some of us what until later in the week. :thumbsup2

It was our first cruise & I had the money at the time. I bought a loose Tanzinite stone (slightly less than a carat, full carat was a lot more. They told us on the ship to go slightly less than what we wanted because of this)

This was also the cruise that I won a $500 sapphire, diamond & gold necklace at the onboard shopping show. The gave out the tickets at the beginning. At the end they turned off the cameras that send the show to the staterooms & did the drawing. They had given away all the prizes and then they brought out the necklace. They pulled a ticket and no one claimed it. The girl said apparently they had left at the end of the show and she pulled another ticket & it was MINE. Boy was I glad whoever it was left early.:thumbsup2

Can we create a column on the spreadsheet that people can pick days that we will give our FE:confused3

This will give people who are flexible, days to make deliveries that may not be convenient for others.

Hi everyone.

Its seems we are a little late in joining and would have been interested in participating in FE but I see it is closed.

We are Nancy and Richard, Jordan (DS14) and Abby (DD9). We've been on many disney cruises and this is our first on the Fantasy. Jordan will finally be old enough for the Teen club and Abby always has a great time in the Club/Lab.
