Yes, I think that is a good idea. We have a had more interest in the Vista Cafe than of the other options so unless anybody really objects then 3 PM @ the Vista Cafe is the place to be. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the feedback,

Jeff

Isn't the vista lounge for adults only?

Hello Everyone,

Checking in from St. Lucia. This place is beautiful:) It's been raining like crazy but it hasn't stopped us from going on excursions:thumbsup2

Tomorrow a cruise ship is coming in (don't know which one) and most of the excursions are being held for them:mad: We are planning on just laying around the beach in Rodney Bay tomorrow and then go zip lining on Thursday.

Today we went on an all day Katamaran Excursion and I am currently rocking like I have been on a cruise ship.

I hope you all are doing well and getting ready for a great cruise:cool1:

No the Vista Cafe is a small area on the side of deck 4 midship that sells coffee and some small pastries. There are some tables and some chairs. I saw this area, which is a real nice relaxing area while on the Dream in January. You are thinking of Cove Cafe.

As I see this Disboard list we have and think that if all (as I am sure not all) will show or even a good number I think this area might be too small for everyone. But that's just my two cents.

Therefore, I vote for D Lounge as that will have plenty of room.

Btw my DD is also 10, will be 11 in November, and is looking forward to meeting some others on the cruise as well.

Sorry meant Vista Cafe, is it just at night that it's adults only?
I was checking all the options you picked and couldn't find the D-lounge, I think that's one of the lounges on the Dream.

Okay thanks for clearing that up, I was looking on Disneycruise.com and that what it said for the Vista Cafe.

Glad to hear you are having a great time. I know the Carnival Victory comes to port there, but usually on Thursdays.

Safe travels! We'll see you in a few weeks on the ship! :yay:

So many girls on this trip!! Hope DS9 can find a friend! He's an only, so a buddy would be great for him!!

I know; I think the girls will greatly outnumber the boys! We have 2 DS (8 & 11). I'm sure my outgoing 8 yr. old will befriend him. Now, if I can just find some friends for my shy 11 yr. old.

We are not listed in the roll call but we have DD12, DD10 and DS6

We are traveling with 2 other families who have DS9, DS6 and DD10, DD8 and DS5

Joe, where will your 20 y/o DD like to hang out? My DS 21 is anxious to meet someone close to his age. He'd like to see pictures (sorry, he's a boy and 21...what can I say?) :sad2:

Back on June 15th we were on a 2 day NYC DCL cruise to nowhere. While on the cruise we had several conversations with Jeff Ehling, a reporter sent by ABC News, KTRK-TV in Houston to report on the Disney Magic coming to Galveston. His crew was everywhere taking video over the two days.

While in the Oceaneers Lab, Jeff and his crew took video of a "crazy professor" who made baking soda volcanoes. At the 1:38 mark of the video you see Missy (left), Sarah (right) and friend of Sarah's in the middle. At the 1:53 mark you can see me in the foreground with Missy, Sarah and Catherine behind me.

Sarah got a kick out of seeing herself on the TV.

Cool!

Is it comparable to the Promenade Lounge on the Wonder? Will all of us fit there?

No, there really is no place like that on the Dream or Fantasy. Unless you count the Bon Voyage location. But that is in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the main deck and it's just really a stand a lone bar. The D Lounge is the Fantasy/Dream version of Studio Sea.

It will definitely hold everyone, even if every single person shows from every family.

if your 11 years old is a boy he can be my friend.I am 12 years old and i am going on the same cruise as you.
