We would love to do a Med Cruise but we are afraid of the Airfare for a family of five.

Our tickets for St. Lucia this summer were over $700.00:(

This is true. My Med cruise is a bit cheaper than my caribbean cruise BUT the airfare to europe is going to make up the difference

Anyone happy that DCL is automatically billing gratuities for the Fantasy starting tomorrow:confused3

I know I am:thumbsup2

I went with my DW to Guest Services during our our last cruise on the Dream to inquire about our account balance and the CM quoted this ridiculous bill:scared:

Turned out that she was giving us information about another state room:confused3

Then she offered to refund us some of our charges for using the washing machines and dryers because she thought that DCL have over charged us:scratchin

We politely asked for a printout of our account and left as fast as possible:crazy2:

Got a call from shoreside concierge yesterday afternoon and chatted with Eric for a while - start booking things on Friday - feels closer

Please save reservations and excursions for us:rotfl:

18 Weeks and counting for our cruise:cool1::cool1::cool1:

off cruise topic (I hope this is ok!), but we're planning our first trip to HHI in early Nov and I've never been. Any suggestions of must do-see-eat??

Off Topic is okay with me.... :)

HHI is great... if you stay on property, just ask at the front desk or at the gift shop....the cast members give great recommendations.

We love the Sea Shack. I really want to try One Hot Mama's (bbq).

no worries ... My must haves are a cabana, Remy dinner, Palo brunch. I haven't decided on any excursions yet

We are hoping to get Remy for the 25th for our 40th wedding anniversary.I don't even care what time we get as long as we can snag it.

Remy is fantastic and worth every penny IMO

Palo brunch is another must do dining experience onboard, I find it better than Palo dinner personally. My folks are joining us and I know they won't care so much for Remy but I plan to have brunch with them and set them up for a Palo dinner just the two of them one night.

Has anyone looked into any excursions yet. We haven't been to St Martin or St Thomas in many years and would love to hear any suggestions.

On our last Eastern cruise we only went shopping:scared1:

This time since we have a large group of 14 we may look into the two flags tour that goes to both side of St. Maartin:thumbsup2

Then we will go shopping:)

depends on the excursion of course but most DCL ones have age minimums of 5 or 10 yrs old. When you try to book online your little guy might not be eligible to be booked into it. You may be able to do those things on your own though.

For St Marten we were thinking of doing the riviera rendevouz beach day as it looks like you can purchase water sports like jetski, parasail, etc

For St Thomas, my folks, DW and 2 smaller ones will do the Maegans bay beach one while my DD12 and I will do one of the more extensive snorkeling excursions.

Has anyone ever booked a cabana on CC? I know it's pretty pricey and I'm wondering if it's worth it. Thoughts?

I haven't had the privilege of having a cabana but I have seen the videos and personally peaked at them last summer and they are very nice:love:

If you can afford it, they look like they are worth the money:thumbsup2

We have booked them a few times and will do them again.

We like the personal space, convenience, layout. Whether it is worth it or not is definitely subjective.
