We started thinking about planning out our cruise days too! We know what extras we want, now it's time to count down to the day when our booking window opens in a little over a month!

I have been planning out my days for like over a year LOL. I got the shipmate app for my I-phone and love it . I have had this cruise booked since jan 2011 and haven't been on a cruise since 2006 so I have been dreaming/planning it for a LLLOONNGGG time!!
Last week I had surgery and I am so thankful that I had this cruise to dream about and Dizneeat's trip report to help me past the time!!

Hope your surgery wasn't serious???? I had a hernia in my stomach repaired about 2 months ago... Compared to some of the surgeries that I've been through, that one was a breeze. Yet another scar to add to an already impressive collection....


Made the leap into the world of iMac this week. My dad's 75th birthday is coming up, so I decided to give him my old PC (which isn't too shabby) and buy myself a new one. I've been eyeing the iMac for a while... so I decided to take the leap and get it. What a great computer!!!!!! I'm so looking forward to photo editing, etc. on it. Especially all the cruise pictures!

I don't know if you all peruse the regular boards all that much... but one guy posted a bunch of ring tones for the iPhone... I'm LOVING them! Every email I get... Star Tour tone... Every text Message... DCL Announcement tone... Every call... When you wish upon a star...

LOVE IT!

I have shipmate too. I've gone through and added our people to the contacts with room numbers, etc. It's really a great app.

My DD14, her BFF14 and myself just booked this cruise and will be joining you. I haven't had time to read the entire thread but saw that there is a small FE exchange group started and we would like to join if possible.

My DD and I just got off the Magic and had a great time so we couldn't wait until spring break 2013 to cruise again.

You sound a lot like me! I am planning my vacations years in advance too. I have now come to do the "fine tuning". Can't wait for May 11 to start booking my cruise extras.

Those ring tones are so much fun. Years ago Tom got some fun "Mickey talk" downloads which we use as our ringtones.
Now imagine being on a full bus (or in a crowd) and your phone suddenly goes off in Mickey's voice and tells you there's a phone call for you.

I totally understand not wanting to wait until spring break 2013 for your next cruise. We just got off the Disney DREAM at the end of February and cannot wait to go back again!

LOL... I was in a rather serious meeting the other day with the Director and CFO of my department and someone called me .... Imagine a cruise ship horn "WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR....." blaring out of your pocket... (ya... I was a little embarrassed (got a good laugh though).

I've since learned to turn off the ringer on my phone in serious meetings...

The text tone isn't as glaringly obvious...

Welcome to the cruise! My daughter is 15... our friends daughter is 14 (well... I'm sticking with that story and there's nothing you can say to make me say otherwise). So... your daughters will be in good company.

Thank you for the welcome. My DD will get to try the teen club for the first time with this cruise (she turns 14 in July) so I'm hoping she has a good time. Glad to know there are some other teens coming along. Might be able to talk her and her friend into trying the teen Chill spa too.

I had to have my gall bladder removed. The surgery wasn't to bad but I ended up with phelbitis in my arm from the IV which has been really painful!!

Thanks so much the recovery has been more difficult then I expected but I am slowly getting my life back.

I am really hoping now that the cruise is only 135 days away that our group becomes more chatty!!The last cruise I went on (2006) our Dis group was HUGE and so much fun !!!!

We are discussing doing another Atlantis one, and maybe do the glass bottom boat at CC IF they do it early in the morning.

We are planning on doing the sting ray encounter on CC. We have done it before and my DD really loved it. I am really not sure about nassau I think we might just walk around . A lot of the tours are not wheelchair friendly so I usually have very few options Have you ever done the glass bottom boat before?

Hm, that might be something else to consider. We have not been on the glass bottom boat yet. I booked it a few times and always cancelled it a few weeks before the trip.

Wow! You are way ahead of me, with your packing list. We have not even started packing for Disneyland Paris yet.

We've not gotten too far into lists just yet. We're generally experienced cruisers ... so we've got most of it down to a science.

I was in Times Square on Thursday... I got to play tour guide to my mom and brothers and their kids. Popped over to the MASSIVE Disney store in Times Square. I was looking for some pirate stuff... but I couldn't find anything believe it our not. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place.
