I just wanted to say that we tweaked our plans a bit. We were at VWL the 2 days before the cruise, but with the photos of all the construction going on at the pool area, my husband suggested staying somewhere a little more magical. All we could get was Coronado or French Quarter. We took FQ, and they didn't charge us the $95 fee because I said I wouldn't have changed if it wasn't for the construction. Apparently, it will have hit the main pool area when we are there, and we are going for a resort stay, not the parks. I wanted to say this in case anyone else wants to switch, before there is nothing left to change to.

Also, as a result, we will not be able to do the VWL meet on Saturday, and I was the one that had mentioned doing it, so I also wanted to say that we won't be there. I am interested in one on the ship, and we will try to come to TOTW if we can.

Just remembered that Saratoga was available as well, but my son is with us on this trip, and he says we always stay at Saratoga with him, so I wanted to keep him happy as well. That's why it was nice the CM didn't charge us the fee.

I thought the wilderness lodge pool was starting construction on September 3rd...is this what you have heard too?

We just booked an Alaska member cruise for 2015! Anyone else book a meme cruise for next year?

Just so everyone knows it took us 2 hours with three people calling to get through to the "On Hold" point. We got through 3 times during that two hour window, then waited through the ringing for it to go through to a message that Member services was closed for the holiday.

Once we got in line/"On Hold", we were at 54 minutes when we hung up with our room and confirmation number for the August cruise.

We are super excited now, but the two hours was very stressful. Hang on people, you will get through. I think it boils down to they only have so many phone lines and when the On Hold people fill them up you get the busy signal. But I could be wrong.

DVC will not release this information prior to the cruise setting sail.
