A new idea!

We have 1 sea day. Would anyone like to meet in Cabanas, right at opening time and sit together to chat? Cabanas is the buffet lunch room. For lunch you have the option to eat in a main dining room, or you eat in Cabanas, or perhaps you chose the counter service, pizza, hamburgers, the things that are available on the pool deck. Cabanas is on the pool deck. You can enter from a bank of elevators, and that would be where we meet at opening time.

Anyone interested? I will make note of yeses, but would understand "no shows," because we don't know what Disney has planned for us. We have done this more formally, gotten a place in the dining room that is opened for lunch as well. That would require me asking at guest services if the staff would be willing to seat us together for lunch if we all gathered 15 minutes outside the door before it opened. I've never met in Cabanas for this, but would give it a try because many people prefer a buffet lunch.

I have mentioned this on the 2015 Member Cruise thread and there was interest, so I thought I would bring it up here.

OK, jedwards, I will also keep a rolling list of people who have expressed interest, and around August 1, we can decide if there's enough interest for kendzee94 to mention it on the first page. As far as I am concerned, we have to eat, and I would be happy to make myself a note to be there, no matter how many are interested. We have to eat, right? The only problem would be if DVC schedules something so interesting that EVERYONE wants to be there, in that case, I think we all understand, the meet is off! OK?

For pre/post cruise, just noticed that EMH were added for the evenings of 8/23 & 8/30 @ MK. There's no way I could do it the night before our cruise - wouldn't be able to function on Sunday AM!! Getting older sucks!!

Some are going to the Villains thing at DHS the night before, not I! I will be at TOTW lounge for the fireworks at 10, though. I expect to be picked up at the resort around 8:15 AM on Sunday. I hope I'm not so excited that I can't sleep!
