Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to stop by and say hi! We will be joining everyone on the member cruise!! It will be our first member cruise and but our 6th Disney Cruise!! It will be myself, DH - Mike, DD - Mia (10), DS - Aidan (9). Can't wait to do the FE too ... it is one of my kids favorite parts of the cruise!

Thanks for the warm welcome!!! We look forward to cruising with everyone and participating in the FE. We are doing Universal for two days before the cruise (our first time) and then stay at AKL after!

I recently made a 2-night stay at VWL for before the cruise, and I am considering adding 2 more days to it. Is anyone interested in doing any meets before the cruise? I was thinking a lounge would be nice, like Territory Lounge. Some drinks, conversation, the geyser, the Electrical Water Pageant. I wish I was there to do that today! Anyone interested??

Kendzee94, that would be a great idea!! We are not going to the parks on those days, we will be either at the pool, Downtown Disney, stuff like that for our WDW time. So we can make our plans depending on how you are spending your time. And anyone else who would like to come, just say so! It's always nice when you know people before you get on the ship.

We will be going to the parks, but come back mid day to relax. I'm thinking 2-3 ish time frame.

Hello everyone!

This will be our first Disney cruise (myself, hubby and 6 years old daughter at the time of sailing) and I am so excited about it! Only if I could make it thru the next 200 days!
I have been reading the posts avidly trying to figure out as many tips and tricks as possible, and I figure I take the plunge and join the group and post something. I am looking forward to meeting people before and trip and maybe connecting with them once we are on the ship!

This is our first cruise and from reading lots of the threads, I understand how hard CM work and I want to make sure I do right by them. Shall we be prepared to tip regardless of what we have been told?

Tips are included for the Member Cruise. You will receive tip coupons (and envelopes) that you pass out to your cabin steward, head waiter, waiter and assistant waiter. The tip amount is the standard DCL recommended amounts which are $4 per day for both your cabin steward and dining room server, $3 per day for your assistant server, and $1 per day for your head server. You can give them cash in additional to the pre-paid amounts if you wish.

Below is a link to the DCL webpage about gratuities. The amounts in the 4-night cruise column are what is included for the Member Cruise. These amounts are the total per position for all 4-nights.
