August 23 touring--DHS closes at 7 pm

We will be at Hollywood Studios on August 23 but will not be attending Villains Unleashed, so the park closes at 7 pm for us. I don't have any experience with these hard-ticket events. Will we be kicked out at exactly 7:00? Will we be able to continue experiencing all rides & attractions right up until then or should we expect certain things to close early? I'm also wondering if the 6:00 and 7:00 Frozen Sing-Alongs will still happen that day. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?

1. Almost certainly.

2. Attraction queues should remain open until 7:00p for you. If not, I'd consider stopping by Guest Relations on your way out and pointing out you had that reasonable expectation.

3. Except for fireworks, Frozen activities are supposed to occur normally on that day. I doubt the 7:00p singalong will still happen, others may know that answer for sure.

I should have added that you are normally allowed to finish the attraction you are waiting for in these situations. Once you've done it though, you're expected to leave the park post haste.

I'm surprised that EasyWDW has HS as a recommended park for Aug 23. I guess he figures that people will avoid it due to shorter hours and no Fireworks/Fantasmic. I was planning on going to MK and hoping that the Villians party would draw some crowd away, but now I'm rethinking it and may make it a HS day.

Yep. Josh always (well, at least as far as I know) recommends MK on a night when MNSSHP or MVMCP takes place, and the shorter hours and lack of nighttime entertainment are the reasons.
