With just 18 days to go until we sail away, I think it is safe to say, that we will have our Saturday 8-23-03 onboard DISmeet at the Promenade Lounge on deck 3 after the safety drill. The latest voting results as of this morning: So if I don't see you in the DCL Terminal, I will be looking forward to see you at the Promenade Lounge!!!

Current votes for the Saturday Magic DISmeet as of 8-5-03.

When I got home for lunch today, I found my wife packing our suitcases, she has everything in them but our dress clothes. It really makes the cruise seem that much closer!!!

we're not quite there yet, but i wish i was!

You can't leave open "boxes" around the house. out cat leaves not so nice suprises in them.

i'll probably have to wait till a day or two before we leave. but mentally, i know exactly what's going in the suitcases.

I have 8 days to prepare for the single digit dance in Florida. Hmmmm???? I know we will feel it all the way down here. I can't believe that in 2 1/2 weeks I will be meeting some of you at the Radisson. Have fun getting ready, that was the best part for me.

Thought everyone would like to know........I called Disney to see about paying for an upgrade to a Cat. 3....the lady told me the ship was competely full!......Looks like we are sailing with a packed ship folks!! Oh well.....we will still have fun!!

I just caught up too but what a great story! Brought tears to my eyes and makes going on the cruise even more special when you realize just how important and wonderful it is for Christina, Nate and family to be able to have this time together as a family.

I received the following message from Lynn (Moosysmom), Lynn is not on our cruise, but she will be joining our DISmeet around the Radisson Pool on Friday night 8-22-03 as will Norm and Shirley(The Perfect Gift). Remember Shirley said she was making Homemade Key Lime Pie (I get the first piece. LOL!!!) Shirley is from Key West, so you know the pie will be outstanding, anywho, I digress.

Lynn has made an offer to help with getting some of our group from the Radisson to the port on Saturday morning. If anyone is interested, you can talk to her at the DISmeet. I am attaching Lynn's message below. Lynn sent me this last night, I'm sorry I didn't post it sooner, but, I was just a tad bit busy last night. For those who read about Nate, you understand.


I can't believe how close it is getting, I'm getting excited for you all.

Anyway, I can't remember if it was your thread or another thread about staying at the Radisson and getting everyone to Port, then getting the car back. I have an option for you diser's.
I have decided, since I am now employed, and will soon have my dog here and be more homebound, that I am going to spend the nite at the Radisson instead of trying to drive back after the meet. I'll be coming from work. Anyhoo,
My option to you all is that since I don't have to be out of the hotel until 11:00 (or 12:00) I can't remember, I would be willing to shuttle people to Port from the Hotel. My car is not that big but I can fit 4 others (and the luggage could already be with the rest of the family. That way, they could get in line, you can get the car dropped off and back hopefully before they went thru. A little speedier than waiting for a shuttle. Then you all can get the the front of the line faster. It's a thought, and I really don't mind doing it. I'm selfish, then I can see the magic again.

I have two more to add the the ever growing cruise list...we just found put that my parents will be joining us..It was a last minute surprise and we are very happy.

They are Jack (50 something) and Judy (40 something), originally from Staten Island, New York and currently residents of Palm Bay Florida.

We are going to try to get them to have early seating with us (they are currently booked for late)..how hard do you think that will be? Should I call DCL now or wait until we are on the ship?
