Hi everyone,

My name is Jen and I'm currently booked for this cruise along with my husband Ray, and two boys, Ethan (will be 9 at sailing) and Zachary (7). This is our 2nd Disney cruise (3 previous on Celebrity) and also 2nd time on the Fantasy (did western last August 18, 2012). Have already joined facebook group but wanted to officially start posting here as well.

Hi Jen...welcome to the Dis group.

All the cat 5e's on our cruise are now GTY, so looks like all of them have sold out. I have one booked.

I does look like there are a lot fewer cabin category choices available for our cruise than there were a several weeks ago. My TA's sales team may be responsible for some of that :thumbsup2

I'm trying to figure out what else we might do in 2014. Can't know for sure what weeks I can get off until June rolls around.

We enjoyed the long MLK weekend in Puerto Rico so much that we would like to do something similar, perhaps Beaches Turks and Caicos - my wife spoke to someone at the gym who recently went and raved about it. If I can get the Feb school break week off would consider a southern caribbean cruise out of San Juan on Royal Caribbean with ports: San Juan, Puerto Rico; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands; St. John's, Antigua; Fort De France, Martinique; Castries, St. Lucia; San Juan, Puerto Rico

That sounds pretty lovely!

I'm in deep planning mode for our EBTA and the first Med. I need warmth! Can't wait to finally get to see Castaway Cay!

THAT is a lovely trip, EBTA and 1st Med. The weather should be ideal. I bet lots of planning for a port intensive Med cruise.

I'm a little :scared1: of the four long port days in a row, but I think we'll be ready for it after the long TA. I think it's going to be a great trip :thumbsup2

Frank, I agree I think we might have something to with some of those cabins being booked up!!:thumbsup2:goodvibes

If only DCL would come up with something else for me to book between now and then - an interesting itinerary at a reasonable price. I won't be holding my breath though :)

I'm sure your very friendly TA can come up with something. What about an Adventure by Disney or Aulani

I was considering the ABD add on to a 7 night Med cruise, had a deposit on one this summer but backed out because of lack of interest from kids plus high airfare to boot for Europe. I couldn't see shelling that out with younger kids not being into it.

Aulani looks nice but I'm happy with the Hawaii trip we have planned: 3 nights on Waikiki beach with car to explore Oahu - followed with 7 night cruise spending 2 days Maui, 2 days Kauai, day each Kona, Hilo (2 days big island).

I am getting into full planning mode for the April Hawaii trip / cruise. The cruise critic board / meet thread is dead ... nothing like DIS

That's too bad :worried:

I guess we're just more fun over here. But that doesn't help you with a cruise on another line.

I haven't been on any CC meet threads, so I really don't know what they are like. Do some lines have more active meets over there than others?
