Hello cruisers!

We are dropping out of this cruise I feel awful about it as not only are you guys shaping up to be a fantastic group to sail with, but I'm the one who started this thread. My husband decided that he really didn't like the timing of the cruise (his busiest times at work are early May and late August/September) and he also was concerned about the girls missing their first few days of middle school (which starts in fifth grade for our district). Let's ignore the fact that he was fine with the dates when I first asked about them

We have moved our reservation to the June 16, 2014 Alaskan sailing instead. It should line up with the girls' first weekend after school let's out and DH won't be too busy at work to take the time off.

I'm hoping that one of you can start a new thread for this meet and we can close this thread. Whoever decides to do it could copy and paste the roll call to the new one.

But, if nobody wants to take it over, I am also happy to keep up with it and stay on for the purpose of being in charge of changing the opening post. I don't mind as you all seem pretty fun.

I'm pretty excited about the Alaskan cruise. DH and I have never been to Alaska and we also won't have to fly there, we can just drive or even take the Amtrak. We won't have to pay for plane tickets, so we'll have that money to do excursions.

Again, I apologize for this. I know it's inconvenient, I really was a dodo for starting this thread. But I started it with the best of intentions.
