Hello Disney cruisers,

My family and I just got back from the Dream in Dec. We did concierge for the very first time and loved it! So just yesterday we decided to book Aug. 23rd 2014 on the Fantasy.....concierge of course!!! We also had booked a cabana for the first time and it was well; AMAZING!!! Hoping to book this again.

We are sailing on the Fantasy this April school vacation as well and I'm excited to say it's in 106 days.

We took part in the FE exchange on the Dream and received lots of nice Disney treats and souvenirs. Hope to take part in another FE exchange!

Anyways my name is Carol, DH IS mike and my 2 DS are Jayden and Logan.... Who will be 10 and 7 at the time of the cruise:)

Great to meet all of you! Looking forward to sharing some Disney magic with everyone:). pixiedust:

Welcome! My girl twins will be Jayden's age at time of sail! Lucky you for going concierge -- my husband and I loved it when we went on the Dream. And the cabanas are awesome too. :)

Welcome Carol and clan! Once you go concierge it's hard to go back. What cabin did you guys book?

We have done at least 1 DCL cruise a year since 2009. 2013 will be our first break from it.

Fortunately 2013 won't be too shabby with the 4 day Puerto Rico trip I just booked for next month, Hawaii in April and Bermuda in July.

That should tide me over until 2014 :)

I agree with you Frank. However due to the 28k price tag for a one bdrm in Europe I had to downgrade to even go.

28k for one bedroom?!? Is that for the 12 nighter? We had deposit on a 7 night Med 1 BR for 14k (2A3C) but decided against Europe. We would have considered the ABD add on but that would be an additional 11k.

Yes a one bedroom on the 12 night

For Europe, I would consider Celebrity. They have some great itineraries. Looked at one that left from Rome and ended in Venice with stops including Greece. Great because we would like to fly into Rome and spend a few days. It is a hike to the port and its hard to see much when you visit Rome for a port day (can spend 1.5-2hr transit each way from port from what I hear)

We decided we will do Europe when the kids are a little older.

Did Europe in 2010 kids were 9. Worked out well. Going this time with friends and DH that were only interested in doing DCL

My kids not 'mature' enough. They want beaches and water parks ... A primarily sigh seeing vac is not in the cards now. Don't want them to ruin my vac.

We were temporarily booked on the 7/9/13 Silhouette eastern med and Greek isle cruise - I would have loved it, especially doing an Italian land vac pre- cruise and maybe even visit Ferrari factory in Modena :)

We are very excited for this cruise! It will be me, DH Kevin. DD Morgan will be 12 when we sail (almost 13 - gulp!) & DS Kyle will be 10!
