Glad to see everyone posting again.
This past week was just awful - everyone I know is in shell shock with the stock market. Someone (much younger than me) asked what I was doing for halloween. I said I can't even think beyond tomorrow, let alone the end of the month.
Very sad.
I actually feel bad for DCL that they released the itineraries/pricing for the European cruises during the worst bear market in history.
At some point in the future, a Baltic cruise would be interestng, but not now and not at DCL prices.
I know the pricing for the TA cruises are good, but we just couldn't cope for all those consecutive sea days. Its why we never were interested in the repo cruises.
It will be very interesting to see how the bookings for these cruises goes. I suspect people will book and then cancel later on. So I suspect you will see DCL start to discount these cruises as it gets closer to the sailing dates.
I hope everyone is coping with the big losses in the stock market. And hopefully we're reaching a bottom here or will do so sometime in the near future and things start to rebound. The only silver lining is the big drop in oil prices. That's some comfort particularly with winter around the corner.

You know we travel a lot, 3 or 4 times to US a year, couple of weekends in The Netherlands, a week in Europe a year. Next year was planning Alaskan cruise. Not now, as it stands it will be the one trip next August, 25 nights incl the cruise, dare not book anything else, thankfully I only hold a little money in 2 bank stocks but everything is down.
After finding this thread, though, I thought I'd finally sign up and say hello! I'm getting married this summer and will be honeymooning aboard the Disney Magic with you! This will be FH's and my very first cruise - and our very first

I hear they sell alcohol...would that be correct? We have been in sloppy joes though...they also sell alcohol. Any thoughts on the best place to get a sundowner on Key West.
You like to be organised Maria.
