Joiseymom......we are so, so, sorry you can't make this cruise. Kristine was so looking forward to seeing Rachel again.
But I'm sure you spent a boatload (excuse the pun) on the Panama Canal cruise last summer and I'm sure it was worth it.
So far we've taken a pass on every special itinerary cruise that DCL has done since we felt the cost was way too high. I, too, am curious to see what DCL will do to try to fill up the Med/Baltic cruises next summer.
I'm not surprised to read that this cruise is getting full. I think DCL did the right thing keeping the Magic in the Caribbean this summer.
As for things to do in Grand Cayman.....we've done the DCL beach excursions as well as the Stingray City excursions. They were okay.....it was convenient to have DCL handle all of the bookings as our kids were young at the time. But I'd definitely look into booking things on your own to save some $$$$.
Life has been insane right now....mostly due to sports and school concerts (its not just the actual concert but the dress rehearsal the night before). But I'm happy that I got my summer vegetable plants in the ground and made good ground on my flower beds. Last year I was in a leg cast and couldn't do a thing in the garden so I've got catching up to do.
Kids have 3 more weeks of school. Then I'll be able to focus on this cruise.

..but i dont think we were ripped off or anything. we booked the day the cruises where available...and paid approx $4500 for 2 cabins one 6 one 11. compaired with what they cost at the moment..i didnt think that was too bad. some friends of ours booked a week later and paid almost $3000 for a cat 2! i will be interested to see what happens afterthe final payment date goes by..
who knew!
and why would you just kid about a single male? Haven't you ever seen Love Boat?
because they said everything was so expensive with the bad exchange rate for us. BTW, I noticed just recently the

I have a single male...aged 29...
6ft 2in...strawberry blonde.

if we'd paid it off immediatly we would have saved money. (the $ was 2 for 1 with the £ at that point!)..and unfortunatly the decision to leave the money in our savings account cost us ...hey ho...you live you learn! we have done a little better with our hotels
not too sure about Rob Pattinson either...so not how I imagimed Edward
