August 22, 2015 - Fantasy Western

Boy, I have been out of the loop here. So sorry, but we went on vacation in July and August and with travelling keeping up on the boards was out of the question. Sooooorry!!!!!!!!

We were just on the June 28th - July 5th Fantasy Eastern, still looking for our Servers and Stateroom Host :lmao: Best way to get over not being on a Disney ship is to book another. :thumbsup2

:welcome:
We loved the Fantasy Eastern last year, but I can assure you the Western is not bad either. ;)

Please add us to the group and FE list our stateroom is 5150 (Pepe's Lounge).

I did add you to the list and FE list! :thumbsup2

Missy (DW) 13th Disney cruise
Jeff (a.k.a Buddy Bear) 12th Disney cruise
Sarah (DD) (11 at time of sailing) 10th Disney cruise

Very impressed with the size of this group and it's still 13 months out. Very nice!

Jeff

Thank you for providing all the information for the FE! The link is in the first post.

Thanks. We typically sail with many families the last cruise, a couple of weeks ago, was 5 families, 17 people. So far we have one other family, but we plan to add a couple more.

Yeah! The more the merrier, hope you can talk your friends into cruising with us. :goodvibes

Hi all we have just booked this cruise. Cruise number 8. There will be husband Craig DD 8 DD 5 DD 3 and myself Laura.
Room number 10582 would love to be in on FE x

:welcome:
You picked a great cruise for your 8th cruise! :thumbsup2

I added you to the list of cruisers and the FE list. Can you please PM me your DDs first names for the list?

This is the cruise I wanted to book, but all the inside staterooms are sold out!! I'm so surprised they are gone considering the cruise is over a year away.

Has anyone been on a cruise during this time before? Is it very busy?

We usually cruise at the end of August and yes, these cruises are pretty busy. We have often seen the "no upgrades, ship full" posters when checking in.

I just found this thread and can't wait to meet all of you. There are five of us: my husband, myself, DD 13, DS 11, and DD 6. Please add us to the FE group. This is our second Disney cruise. We are in stateroom 9078.

Maria

:welcome:
Great to have you on board. I see this is your second DCL cruise, which ship did you sail on for your first?
I added you to both lists in the first post, but please could you PM me all your first names and your stateroom number for the FE list. :goodvibes

We just booked this cruise and are so excited (#2 for us). Will be sailing with my DH, 3 DD (14, 14, and 7 ) and my SIL. Already so excited. Definitely want to participate in the fish extender - it was a lot of fun on our first cruise. And requested to join the Facebook page this morning.

:welcome:
Great to have you on board.

Just transferred a reservation we booked last week on the Wonder.

We have never sailed from PC in the summer, so looking forward to having warm water at Castaway Cay. We usually go in March and it is only once has it been warm enough for me to swim.

:welcome:
Glad to have you on board.

Castaway Cay is awesome in the summer. And the Western Caribbean itinerary is really awesome.
We are going in March in 2015 and I really hope we get to swim at CC. But you are scaring me a bit now. On the other hand, we usually go in February and even though it's chilly, we still swim.

Hello everyone!!!

checking in for the first half of our back to back girls week out cruise... (well we've extended it a little) I see some familiar handles .... so excited to be cruising with you guys again!!!

(Hi dizneeat!!!)

So it'll be myself, Grammy and my now 13 year old - jkid.... we just got off the dream for a back 2 back 2 back in late august.... we had such a great time we decided we wanted more time on the ship.... sign us up for the FE..... The creativity of the FE group never stops amazing me.... I hope it's doesn't feel to painfully long until next summer.

Hi all

We are currently on the Magic WBTA and have booked this cruise for next year to celebrate my DS 21st birthday in June and my 50th in July.

I have currently 3 rooms booked as my sister, her husband and their dd nearly 6 at time of sailing are also coming. We are hopeful that our son will come but he started a new job 1st September and as yet is not sure what his holiday availability will be.

We are from the UK and hopefully it will be:-
Me - Lorraine
Dh - Giles
DS - Ryan - and his girlfriend if he has one at the time
Sister - Rachel
Bil - Paul
Their dd - Amelia nearly 6

Less than a year - can't wait!!

SO EXCITED! Tomorrow morning I'm able to book our Pre-Cruise stay at SSR. We're taking a red-eye out on Thursday night, arriving in Orlando in the early am, so I'll book 2 nights and will be ready to hit the bed once we get to the hotel!

The days/weeks/months are ticking away!

YIPPPIE!

We booked via DVC a 2 bedroom for 8 days at AKL on the Club (concierge) Level from 8/14 - 8/22. Probably not staying at WDW after the cruise, but we'll have a great week leading up to the cruise. :thumbsup2

We are in the process now on what to do before and after. Most likely we will go to WDW after, my parents are joining us for that part of the trip. We were going to rent DVC but decided against since is too early. We were concerned if we needed to cancel the cruise then we will get stuck with the rental. Must likely we will stay at Hyatt MCO the night before.

Looks like you are bringing quite the "group" to this cruise for all of your celebrations. :thumbsup2

So, I guess you did book your stay. I am taking it, SSR is your home resort - ours too! :goodvibes
It will be here before we all know it. :goodvibes

You are arriving one day ahead of us! :thumbsup2 And AKL is such a great resort - I am SURE, you are going to have a wonderful week leading up to the cruise.

It's such fun to see everyone's plans. Now, that we have finalized our plans for March/April we have started thinking about what to do for our summer vacation.
At the moment I hold reservations at WDW for the week before the cruise. We still have to wait until the 7 month mark until we can book our stay after the cruise. We don't really want to stay at our home resort, but I guess there will be something else at the 7 month mark.
And just today I started toying with the idea of adding 2 nights at UO before the cruise after seeing pics of a friend of UO and IoA. We have not seen some of the new additions, so that might be in the cards as well. ;)

Hi,

I'm the DH of Lorraine. I made these today, and thought I'd share them

Very nice designs! Would be cool to use that Fantasy Western Mickey Head image for magnets and possibly T-Shirts.

Hi Karin, Tom and everyone else.:goodvibes

Just done the 14 night WBTA (then a week in Florida) while onboard we booked this cruise.

I really hope we keep this cruise but a lot could happen between now and next Summer.
Our Son is just starting his final year at University(Lancaster UK), when he finishes next July he has been offered a 1 year contract working at Lancaster University Ghana, West Africa.
If he accepts the job we will probably cancel the cruise and sail another time when he is available to go with us, if he turns down the offer and continues with a Masters degree then we will probably keep the cruise as he will get the summer off.

Karin, I remember talking to you a few years ago but unfortunately don't remember the detail. Were we supposed to look out for each other at Port Canaveral(Grills Possibly?) one afternoon but missed each other?

I was torn about posting due to the uncertainty of us sailing but I hate joining these threads too late and playing catch up.

We are Wayne, Karen & Mathew, this will be our 8th Disney Cruise(plus 2 RCCL) We also love Florida, taking around 35 vacations there totalling almost 2 years.

Hi Wayne. We also booked this cruise on the WBTA, and are bringing our family from just outside Lancaster.

Hi Giles, hope you enjoyed the WBTA.
We had a great time. Close to perfect, a couple of menus were not so great (our server even apologised for one:rotfl2:) and 2 or 3 of the acts in the WD theatre were below my expectations but apart from that couldn't fault anything.
