Hello Matey! I'm Hayley, I'll be 24 at the time of the cruise, and I'll be cruising with Elfyn (Els), who will be my husband at the time of the cruise and he'll be 27. This is our 2nd DCL Cruise and we'll be in Stateroom 7120 for the 2nd time! We'll be getting married at Disney World a few days before we set sail Just booked the cruise this morning and we're really excited!



Is anyone up for doing the Fish Extenders?

Hi, yeah, I live in Cheshire, about 4 miles from Manchester Airport.

When do you fly out? We are flying out on the 9th and going to book the Poly for 4 nights and then 3 nights at HRH, then staying at DVC before and after the cruise. I'm treating us next year as I have had to cancel this years trip as going back to uni for a year to do Post Grad in Early Years Education and already had money saved up.

I am so excited about going a a cruise, I'm in stateroom 7123 in cat 11, (not 100% sure what the Fish Extenders are yet though).

No way, you must be like 2 doors away from us! We're 7120

We're either flying out on the 7th or 8th I think, from Manchester! The Poly is lovely - you should definitely treat yourselves! We'll be in Wilderness Lodge 6 nights (2 nights GF sandwiched in between for the wedding) , Sheraton Four Points 6/7 nights (with 1 night RPR thrown in), and then 4 nights at AKL after the Cruise.... well that's the plan up to now anyway, but it keeps changing! The thought of all that packing gives me a headache

The Cruise is lovely! Our first time was last year, and TBH DF wasn't sure he would like it but it was fantastic! The evening shows are incredible and we thought they were even better than WDW. I've never been anywhere like Castaway Cay, it's just amazing! It's a strange feeling - it feels like you're in Disney, but the places aren't familiar, if that makes any sense!!

That's great you're doing your postgrad! I'm doing mine at the moment, and I just want to finish already - I'm sick of being at Uni now! Hopefully I'll be done before we go next year or I might have to take it with me

wow! we own at AKV and planning our last 4 nights there so may see you there too. That would be weird. We want to stay at Beach Club Villas the 6 nights before the cruise.

Castaway Cay sounds amazing - I'm thinking of booking the stingray experience for my DD.

I'm fed up with uni too, I have just finished my first degree (My graduation is next saturday). I need to do PG to get the job I want though as I want to work with kids and my degree is in English. I'm only doing 60 MA credits though to get a post graduate certificate so only have a year back at uni. If I decide to do the full MA I will do it part time or with the OU.

Definitely a small world Where but the DIS could you find someone who's staying 2 doors down from you on a cruise halfway round the world

I'm coming to the end of my 2nd year of my PhD in law, I went straight in from my degree and I'm just tired of Uni now! I don't blame you for not doing the full masters full-time. If I hadn't spent 2 years doing it so far, I might have just quit already!! Congrats on graduating!! It's great feeling to be finally over and done with and know that you've got your degree and no one can take it away!

The fish extenders are great! We got lots of great little gifts in ours last year and it was fun passing ours out too! It was fun coming back to the stateroom and seeing if there was anything in there, or any little notes from our cruisemates!

Hi there! I was really hoping someone would start a thread for our cruise because I'm a big chicken about that kind of thing.

DH and I will be sailing with the 3 kiddos. Ages at the time of cruise will be:
DS14, DS11 and DD7. I can't remember our exact room numbers off hand (what kind of DISer am I!) but we are on Deck 6, starboard side between mid-ship and aft. I'll look it up later. We have a category 6 and then an 11 across the hall.

I would love to do FE's. I'm sure as the cruise gets closer, we'll have more people on board.

You mentioned you were staying at HRH for a few days. Is this the Hard Rock Hotel? Have you stayed there before? We are hoping to stay there for a few days before our cruise and visit Universal; we've never been.We (me and 2DS's) are really hoping that the Harry Potter Section is open.

Hi, yes its the Hard Rock Hotel, I have never stayed there before, trying it next year as my DD is a bit older so think she will enjoy it more than when she was younger.

Hi everyone,

We're booked on this cruise, too. Just got off the 8/22 Magic western. Absolutely amazing.

This cruise will be our 10th DCL cruise and its an equal split: 5 done on the Magic and this will be our 5th Wonder cruise.

Had looked at the 5-night Wonder cruises but the prices were crazy and we just couldn't justify spending that much more for the extra day.

We'll be spending 4 nights in WDW before the cruise.

We're definitely in for the FE exchange. We're up on deck 8 in the front of the ship.

Its me, DH and DS (15) and DD (14).

Those 5 day prices were crazy! We were thinking of doing one too, but the $ that we saved switching to a 4 day was enough to pay for our 4 day trip to Universal!

Glad to see there will be more teens onboard who obviously like DCL. I know DD6 and DS10 will love it, but I have no idea what to expect for our oldest who will be almost 15 at the time of cruise.

We're sailing with you too! We just got off the Wonder last Thursday and we had so much fun, we had to book another cruise for next year while we were onboard! We've done a few cruises on the Wonder and one on the Magic; as you can see, we're DCL addicts! But we always have such a great time so we just keep booking more cruises!

Sea-and-Ski, we were on the double dip with you last year! It was so nice to see your name when I was scrolling through the posts!

Claire, our cabin's not far from yours; we've booked 7624. We were in 7626 last week and we really liked it with the navigator's verandah so we decided to go with somethin similar for our 2010 cruise too.
