I feel nervous too... I received my quote and I just can't get over it!!! It's almost too good to be true!! I'm afraid to cancel my reservation and go with a TA ... I've never used one before...

Very new to DIS booked 8/10-8/16/14 through TA was reading all your posts about GREAT deals was wondering who you all booked through? 10 of us going and almost $10,000 @ POR 2 rooms. Please let me know how to find a great deal not feeling warm & fuzz about what I'm paying. HELP!

Last week I booked a week at BLT for the end of August using a AAA room only discount. It was 20% off, which saved me about $700. (We've only ever stayed at the Contemporary, but a studio lake view at BLT was $200 cheaper than a lake view in the Contemporary tower. I was not expecting that when I called!) So now I'm just hanging around to see if Disney releases anything that'll give me a better deal yet.

Hoping for a deal beginning of August. Is everyone booking and then changing if a promo comes around?

Our dates are set, DH has to book his holidays and can`t change especially in summer. He has August 23-Sept 1 off so I`m hoping a discount of some sort is released for than. I am planning to book in January so I can get the ADRs I want booked early. Than just change my reservation when discounts are released. Although I think I can book ADR`s still some what early before booking the trip so that I can book right at discount release. Still researching that

Can someone message me this great TA though, I`ve been planning on my own, but if I can save with help please share. I am in Canada though, so not sure I can use them.

Yay for you! I asked for a quote twice and never got any answer at all. I guess they lost out. Oh well, we weren't sure when we are going yet and my sister didn't really want to book yet. But I was ready to book and pay the deposit and then cancel if we couldn't go those dates. Better safe than sorry in my books. We'll just hope Disney comes out with a good deal later on.

Actually I do have my email set to exclusive, but I check my junk/spam folder every day for that reason.

I think I'm fine right now, because I've "resigned myself" to the fact that my sister hasn't saved any money, so she probably won't be going.... but if she doesn't, I'm taking a few days off and going for a long weekend in DECEMBER for the first time!!! We just got a new contract and we're allowed 3 personal days a year and I never could go before!!!

Stayed at YC last August and got a great rate through ***. I had always planned everything myself but the deal was too good to pass up. Booked the bounce back while I was there and got FD for our upcoming trip. For all of those who are nervous booking through *** don't be. Everything worked out great!

We booked the Beach Club for late July into early August. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for a great deal!!

Disney has always come through for us in the past, hoping this time won't be different!

I did not see any promotions on their site for early August.

If you speak with one of the agents they may be able to help, there's MANY more discounts then what is advertised...similar to 2013 I believe...May, early August, Jersey Week and early December to name a few...they are not as significant as Labor Day special, but it's a discount

Did anyone else get a pin for various dates between January 03 through Sept 27? I just saved over $1000.00 for 8/18 - 8/24 in a 1 bdr at SSR. We were talking about going in August (our son starts high school in Sept. so gone are the days of taking him out of school for vacations). I randomly checked an old email and I had a 35% pin for the perfect August dates. I just see no one else mentioning this pin. Maybe I just missed it. Lol

For stays most nights 1/3–3/5/14, 3/14–3/22/14, 3/30–4/12/14, 4/21–5/31/14 and 8/17–9/27/14.

This pin has been out for awhile starting on the 17th and I booked it awhile ago, almost when it first came out, and I was not able to get my first choice resort/room choice, so some availability may be affected. For example, I wanted a standard or garden beach club room but they only had the higher price rooms, which sort of defeated the discount for me. But I booked early enough that I was able to get a garden room at Yacht club, so similar, luckily, or wouldn't have been able to do this, since I could only do the deluxe with the discount.
