August 2014 - Discounts??

Anyone hear if Disney will be offering discounts for mid August? Looking to go the middle of August....haven't seen anything yet. Thoughts?

So far just PIN discounts for August 17th on.

You can always use your AAA discount for now.

Yes, we had a room discount for Aug. 7-13. I think we had 25 or 30% off mods and maybe the values were 15-20 % off. It was a general public code.

I'll join in on the wait. Last year, my family went at the beginning of August. I used a discount on the reservation. According to Mousesavers the release date was 3/28, 5%-30% off. The year before that was 4/2, 5%-25% off rooms. With the current discount set to expire at the end of March, I imagine the next will be released at the beginning of April. However, in 2011 the discounts for mid June into August were released 5/1.

last year last two weeks is was 25%-30% off most rooms...

2012 last two weeks i believe we got free dining....

hopefully something this year....

A new discount was offered today, free Memory Maker and small room discount. However, dates not included in the offer, June 16 to August 14. My dates fall within this blackout period. Throw me another bone.

Same here. I'm watching to see what's released, but somehow I doubt even free dining would work out cheaper.

Any chance that discounts starts the 17th? That's when we are hoping to go.

I've called 3 different times and spoke to 3 different CMs. All of them told me that AAA discounts were not available in August, for any resort. Would you mind letting us know what your dates and resort choice was? I am looking at August 11-21. Thanks!
