August 2014 - Discounts??

I've called 3 different times and spoke to 3 different CMs. All of them told me that AAA discounts were not available in August, for any resort. Would you mind letting us know what your dates and resort choice was? I am looking at August 11-21. Thanks!

Did you call AAA directly for a quote? I'm going august 8-15th. Staying at Pop. My mom is my travel agent and I was quoted thru Disney and another agency and AAA was the cheapest.

They used to be on the desk in the room. Now they are usually in the packet that you are given at check in.

We are staying at POR 8/16-23....I was previously told that TA's don't get any different discounts then booking directly thru Disney...TA's just watch for the discounts for you????

You are correct, but some TA's work for agencies that book blocks of rooms and they then can offer those discounted. So, it's not the TA getting you the discount but the agency they work with. Also, some TA's watch for discounts and some don't. Have read many times through the years just as many that have TA do the work as have to call the TA to have a discount applied.
