Hello people of the disboards! This is my first pre-trip report so hopfully it turns out good:)

To sum up about me I am a freshman in high school, been to diney 5 times(this is 6) and have an unheathy infatuation with disney and its food.

So this report is about my familys up coming trip in August. As you can see from my ticker below it is 5 months, 1 week, 4 days, and counting untill the trip. I have no pacients what so ever, so it is going to be a very long 5 months.

Here is some background on the trip. We are going on a trip with some close family friends. They have been living in Europe for the past 3 or so years. They are the people that I want on my first disney vacation with and got my family into DVC and now since they're back in the states we have to go on the long over due disney vacation.

Now for our plans:
Who: Me, My family, which consists of my Mom, Dad, and brother, Taylor, and our friends my "Uncle", "Aunt", and their children Meg and Maddie

We will be staying at the Tree House villas for the first 4 days while we tour outside the parks to see other things(gasp) like Cape Canavral. Then for the rest of the week we are curentaly staying at OKW but we are on the waiting list for BWV and are hopeing we get in there.

I will be posting more updates with other plans I have (AKA food reservations). If you people reading could point me in the direction of some good places to get gluten-free snacks and counter service places it will be greaty appreciated as well as some hidden "treasures" and secrets about the parks.

you're staying in the tree house villas? :sad1:
Are you going to write a trip Report? You should! It would be really interesting!

(by the way... If you didn't know already you are a frump :thumbsup2)

Sorry that I haven't updated in a while, I have had practice the last couple weeks so I haven't had a lot of time.

The first 4 days, while in the tree houses :cloud9:, we planned to go to Cape Canaveral one day, Disney Quest another, and just relaxing for the rest. We have never been to Disney Quest and since we have Annual passes this year we decided to go. I am so excited!

After that we are tentatively moving to OKW and we start going into the parks and the Dining Plan begins (:goodvibes)

So here’s the plans...
First day-Magic Kingdom- Eating at Be Our Guest:) This is the reservation I am most excited about! We will probably do the fireworks and parades this day too so the other days we can do rides when the lines aren't as long.

Second day-EPCOT- Eating at Beirgarten. Our friends who we are traveling with were living in Germany so we will see how the food compares to what they ate. Illumination is of course a must and my dad said if we get into boardwalk he is seeing Illuminations every night (it’s his favorite).

Third day- Hoop-dee-do- we are planning on just relaxing today since the reservations aren't in a park. We are going at the late time since DDP can sit in tier one. We have only sat in the back so closer will be a nice change.

Fourth day- Hollywood studios- Eating at Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic package and of course with that we will be seeing Fantasmic.
More updates to come and to finish off the same as the previous, if you could tell me of any good gluten-free snacks and counter service restaurants that would be great.

Only 4 months and 1 day to go :goodvibes

Hi! Looking forward to your trip report!

I was just at WDW in early March. We ate at Be Our Guest in the West Wing. The atmosphere is AMAZING, but for people who love food it's a less that what we were expecting. Not horrible, but not the best. Totally worth it for the atmosphere, though!!

The Beirgarten is great. We've got German blood and completely approve. The show is fun too! Also, the best place to view Illuminations in the park is from the Canada Pavilion, get there about 1/2hour early and stand by the wall.

I haven't done Hoopdeedoo (so weird!) but I've heard nothing but amazing reviews from close friends. Have fun, take pictures!!

Having the dinner+Fantasmic package is the best, especially during the summer when you have to wait in line for the show 1+hour just to get a seat.

Excited for you!! :cheer2:
