That's a GREAT idea!!

This is what we all had made for my last group a few years ago.....

One guy did them for everyone and then emailed the graphic. But I think saying "TEAM AUGUST" or "TEAM 8" along with our names/DISnames would be cool! Maybe I'll see if I can work on a design too. We can all put in our designs and then vote! Haha!

I think if we stick to the same color we'll be more recognizable. It doesn't have to be lime green, I'll go with majority. Personally, my favorite color is purple.

Weird August 20th shows MK in red on far right to me. Hrmm...I wonder if we're looking at different calendars or I'm just looking at it wrong?

Meanwhile I have a question for Teva flip flop fans. After reading some reviews it seems like Teva has changed their flip flops on the Mush II and now they are narrower and less support. I can get the 'original' ones on the Teva website at full price but they are backordered until 8/14 which cuts it very close to my trip (leaving 8/18) or I can get the Mush II from pretty much anywhere else for less. Thoughts? I would have never thought flip flops would be supportive enough for all that walking but I'm willing to try them.

I love the Teva's but I also love Reef flip flops. DD and I both have 3 pairs and we live in them in the summer. Feels like you are walking on air. My feet never seem to get tired in these and I prefer them over sneakers. I know the general recommendation is not to wear flip flops for a lot of walking but I can't imagine wearing anything else!

I can just make it smaller so it will fit. So should I change the blue to a purple? Green and purple will look nice together!

Ugh slight problem! I didn't realize, as I was making it, what size it actually is. I just printed it out and it's pretty huge. Like 6 inches across. I do want it to be bigger than the mickey head paint chips but that's too big right?? I'll have to play around to make it a better size!


OR, I can just send it to whoever wants it at this size and then each person can group the images and resize it easily.

What do you think?

Those are awesome! I love the idea of the purple with the green. I think if you just send the design we can figure out how to re-size it. You've done so much already, thank you!

Grrr! I made it smaller (saving the original!) and I think I made it too small. DH says he likes the big one. I'll make a medium sized one and see what happens!! Then once it's done, everyone who wants one can just let me know and I'll fill in your name!

Hi, everyone! I think I've posted in this thread before, but it was a long time ago and I'm sure everything I had planned then has changed by now

We are at the 7 week mark for our trip and the planning is kicking into high gear! I'm excited to find such a hopping thread of people who are going to be down there at the same time!

To introduce myself...

I'm Heather. I've been to WDW/DL probably about 15 times, but the last time was 2005. So it's been WAY too long! My DS15 is Alex. He's been to WDW/DL 12 times, the last time in 2008 with my mom. I married my DH, Patrick, in 2007. He's been to WDW one time, way back in the early 1980s. So I'm considering this his first trip! And then there's our DD, Savannah, who will turn 4 a couple weeks after our trip. This is her first trip, obviously.

We will be at WDW from Aug 25-Sept 1, staying at the CBR. ADRs as follows (these have changed about 50 times, but I'm pretty sure this is the final version!)

Some of the prep I'm doing for the trip... Trying to find shoes that are comfy. Thought croc flip flops were the way to go, but I took an hour walk the other night and ended up with blisters on the sides of both big toes So then we went to the zoo and I tried my old reliable Tevas, but got a blister on the outside of my little toe So I think I'm going to try reefs or keens next. It was 100 degrees here in MN all week, so I tried taking walks every day to see how we'd do in the heat. DD had a frogg togg and fan/mister in her stroller, so she did fine. I, however, melted. Will definitely be working a/c or swim breaks into our WDW schedule!

I pre-ordered the photopass +/CD and got my package yesterday! Yay! So I have that voucher in a safe place with my other travel docs.

Looking forward to getting to know you all in the next few weeks! Should be easier now that I've figured out how to subscribe to a thread and get email notifications

Duh!! I spent all that time trying to resize each image in the graphic BUT I just realized when you go to print, you can go to print setting and change the percentage. I printed at 75% and it's the PERFECT size. AND it saved that way too so it will be all set for you to print it at the same size. (Hopefully!)

Sooooo, this is the final product. If you would like one, just tell me your first name and I will put in your screen name.

Trying to decide if it's better to email everyone the actual document or just save it as an image and pm that to you. Then you can make it whatever size you want. Hmm......
