I am so excited! Due to extremely low airfare, upgrade to annual pass and hotel discounts, we just booked for Aug 14-21! I still can't believe it! We are staying at All Star Sports...requested the baseball wing. Now we have to decide between QSDP and DP. Can you still trade 1 TS for 2 QS? DH does not want to be tied down to too many TS meals but it seems to be worth the small price difference to pay for the dining plan and do a few TS restaurants.

More resort changes for Pigletto
I will try to be brief but I need help deciding.
We were going to stay at a family suite at AoA with free dining. It will be myself and dh, our two kids (15 and 8) and dd's friend (also 15).

I just got a quote from a travel agency (don't think I can mention their name on the boards) who gets select rooms at insanely good rates. They have our dates at The Yacht Club for CHEAPER THAN AOA. In fact, the rate includes promotional tickets for dd's friend that includes a few waterpark visits, mini golf and Disneyquest.
No brainer right? But do I want to give up 2 bathrooms?
The girls will sleep in quite a few days, and I would be completely comfortable telling them to come meet us at Epcot when they were showered and ready to move for the day.
The Epcot resorts are hands down our favourite resorts but we've never stayed at Yacht Club. We LOVE walking to DHS and EPCOT.
What would you do? Would you give up the space for a nicer resort and better location?

You have got to pm to me the travel agency.......I may join you as a resort changer!!!

I got the kids Tshirts today to make bleach mickey heads. I accidentally got yds a T that wasnt cotton so it didnt work. I went back to store for another shirt and Ill make it tomorrow.
Ods did his by himself so he was really excited!! He went a bit heavy in the spraying and dripped it but its all his work so its beautiful! Thanks for the idea. Now I just need to make my pirate Ts and vests.

I have all my past TRs in my signature. I just finished up my February TR so I'm just adding some PTR stuff for this trip to the end of that. I will definitely be writing a TR when we return though!

I can't get the DDP with this offer that I just booked but to give you an idea.. it's 1400 cheaper than what I was paying at AoA with upgraded free dining. 1400 will cover our food for the 7 days no problem We will purchase TIW because we have AP's. This promo rate has to include 2 day base tickets but we need tickets for dd's friend anyway. I checked and she can use all of them.. PLUS they include a waterpark or DisneyQuest visit per ticket for her.
With the free dining I was going to have to upgrade one of the 2 day base tickets for dd's friend for another 200. So really.. booking this is 1600 cheaper than AoA with free ddp (upgraded to regular dining).
Insane!!! PLUS we are in such a great location we no longer feel we need to rent a car for the Disney portion of our stay, saving us even more.

Now.. to answer the question of the day.

I always consider doing a pre trip report or trip report. But I know me. As soon as I started it would feel like an obligation to keep going and then I wouldn't want to do it
So I just enjoy living vicariously through other people's trips. I appreciate those that take the time to do it. It makes for great reading before a trip

Sounds like a no brainer.

Any other Android users out there? Are there any 'live' Disney wallpapers? I've searched a bit online and on my phone and haven't found anything. I did download the official Disney Magic app. It is really cool and supposedly even has line wait times and other cool info once we are on site. I also downloaded a countdown widget. lol I uploaded just a regular photo (of Dumbo) and I just don't like it as much as some of the live options. Maybe I just need to find a better pic.

That shirt is so cute. How did you do it?

100% cottom T- Mix bleach with water(slightly more then 50/50) in a spray bottle. Place a mickey head cut out(I used foam sheet) on the shirt, spray around head and wait a minute or two until color changes. Submerge in water to stop action, then wash. So easy, perfect for my kids. I got the T in picture from michaels crafts($2.50) and yds I got a light blue at WM (also $2.50) and his changed to a lighter blue/whitish.
