Where in NJ are you located?

Have you driven before, it our first time?

Are you driving straight through? We plan to leave Thursday night around 5:00 and drive straight through. My DH drives a snowplow in the winter so he is used to driving all night! Hopefully we will take a break around 10:00pm and put our DD into her pj's and she will sleep through most of the drive (at least thats the plan!). I will take over around 4:00am (I don't mind waking up early) and drive untill around 8:30 - 9:00am when we will stop for breakfast. Then hopefully it will be straight through to Disney by lunch time. What do you think?

P.S. my favorite sister in law is named Donna - she lives in north Jersey!

It seems I arrive the same time and I haven't gotten mine yet. I get excited going to the mailbox and then a big letdown when its not there.

Your plan sounds exactly like ours! I have work on Thursday so we'll leave as soon as I get out. Probably around 5 or 6. DH is a police officer and works nights so our plan is to drive straight thru also hoping the kids will sleep. They think we're going to Myrtle Beach so we'll be surprising them with dis shirts at breakfast. Can't wait!

We'll be there with you leaving in 13 days! We take those individual cereal bowls for breakfast even though I guess you can buy them in the food court. My son likes certain types and don't want to risk not having it due to his food allergies. Staying in DVC this trip and will have a toaster. We may just stop at Walgreens and see what we can pick up for microwave and toaster when we arrive.

What a small world! My sister in law lives in Harrington Park!

I'm also working on Thursday, I finish at 2:00 so we will pack the car, have a quick dinner and hit the road!

Yay! for those who have received Mickey Mail. I just got words from my TA that it arrived while she was on vacation, but it is now on its way to my place.

I don't know if anybody else has touring plans, but they just made changes to the crowd calendar for August and it's quite ridiculous. Without giving away too much, HS is basically a park to avoid 95% of the time and AK is a best park 95% of the time. Oh joy...

6 days until our first stay at AKL and we are so excited. A week from today at this time we will be getting ready to go have breakfast at Chef Mickey's!! We have a lot of ADR's planned which should help with the hot weather.

I got that email this morning too....kinda nuts. I expected the weekend of the 20th & 21st to be busy, as this is FL's last weekend before school starts right?? But I sure hope the crowds aren't as bad as TP predicts they will be for that week. Anyone know how they judge this??

I girl that I went to high school with lives near WDW. We had planned on meeting while I was down there since she has season passes. When I finally sent her the dates of 8/20-26 she said that they couldn't meet. That was the first week of school for her girls. Fortunately mine starts the week after that.
