August 2011

I know is sounds like a lot, but I do laundry everyday. During our mid day break, the laundry rooms are always near the pool so I throw a load in while relaxing by the pool :laundy: Plus I do not want to put dirty, sweaty clothes in my luggage to take back home.

Oh wow! I would much rather do it all when I get home. To each their own. :)

Only 99 day to go!:banana::cool1::yay::dance3::cheer2:

I can't believe it's getting so close now! I'm still not sure if my two older DD's are comming with us, their lives change at the drop of a hat! I guess thats what happens when your in your early 20's!!

We still don't know if we are driving or flying! If we drive we can be a little more flexible with our park tickets, either add a day or subtract a day and try to fit in WWOHP!

The only things that are set is our room (1 bedroom villa at the Boardwalk! Woohoo!!) and our ADR's!

I've never been this close and not known what we were planning! It's kind of exciting!!!

I think I have 87 days to go :cool1: I know it's going to go so fast but I wish it was here already!

LAUNDRY: I plan to do laundry atleast once while we are there on a day we aren't too busy like an AK day. None of us have a lot of shorts and I can see wardrobe changes during breaks due to the heat. I usually have to do laundry atleast once while on any vacation.

TIP QUESTION: We are doing probably 7 table service meals. Any suggestions on how much tip money to bring? We are on the DDP, 2 kids and 2 adults.

WATER DELIVERY: Those of you flying, are you having water delivered and if so who are you getting it from? I don't want to order anything but water and maybe some juiceboxes so I don't know who to go thru. I'm just going to pack a few extra snacks for the kids in our luggage, nothing messy or spillable.

I am placing an order with garden grocer and getting water delivered

I too prefer to do it when I get back home. Not only because I don't like taking time away from the vacation (we don't have small kids yet, so don't take many mid-day breaks, at least not at the resort), but also because I'm majorly worried about bed bugs. Even if we don't see any while we are there, I'm still afraid we might take some back home. As soon as we return we wash ALL the clothes (even the unused ones) in hot water, just in case.

I was always a "I don't do laundry on vacation" kinda gal.:rotfl: But this year we will be gone for 10 days and I don't think we all have enough shorts to get us through.:scared1: I may have to devote an afternoon to laundry while we swim in the pool.:confused3

I too am doing laundry midway through since we are going to be there for 9 days. As for the tip question, I am figuring 15-20 per TS meal. Obviously it would depend on what you order. I also have 2 kids but 1 is a Disney adult. So maybe a bit less if your children are Disney children.

We also plan on doing laundry this trip. We've actually done it on the last couple of trips. Since airlines started charging for a 2nd suitcase, we don't pack as much as before. I pick a day about 1/2-way through our trip and do the laundry while we spend the afternoon or evening swimming.

We have WCC this day too! :thumbsup2

I use to not do any laundry while on vacation, even the 18 day trip. But staying DVC makes that so easy, I throw the laundry in before we leave for the parks and toss it into the dryer when we get back. We now come home with clean clothes. :thumbsup2

You've got some good eats there!

Thats true about the airlines. There are 5 of us so we get ample allowance for luggage.

Can't wait to get to Disney. This trip will be myself, DH, DD and DDBF. It has been 3 years since our last trip to Disney and Daughters Best Friends 1st visit! :cool1::cheer2:
