August 2011

I officially have 156 days from today!
I was disappointed though that I made a couple ADR's last week at Planet Hollywood and Rain Forest Cafe, and both places only had lunch times available! We're not doing the dining plan for the first time ever, but decided to still choose a couple places to have a sit down dinner. I'm still excited though because we just love Planet Hollywood, and it will be our first visit to Rain Forest Cafe!

Count me in! I am taking the kids on a solo trip Augst 22-25th, and staying at Pop. It will be our first time at that resort. Then my DH is flying down and joining us, and we are moving over to Animal Kingdom Villas, Jambo 1b from the 25th to 29th. First time there too! I have our flights all set, reservations all set, and the excitement is killing me!

After a great deal of second guessing, redos and hand-wringing over resort choices we have finally decided on: August 20th - August 27th. CSR.

I cannot wait.

Please add us. We're going August 20-27 and staying at the Yacht Club for the first time. So excited.

Added you. Thanks!

Has everyone booked their air travel? Still holding out and hoping prices drop.

I booked my airfare and it was expensive! Haven't checked in two weeks but prices were going up little by little so I am okay as I can be with what I paid :lmao: Even little increases add a lot to 4 plane tickets. Oh how I miss the days when my kids were free on planes and at Disney.

I know. I hav to pay for airfare for 5 of us now.
We are considering driving, air fare for 5 is a LOT of $$$!:scared1:

Yep. It's not cheap. I'm still hoping for a price drop.

I booked my trip a couple of months ago. I found them for $148 r/t including taxes out of Detroit. I just did it. I know that I've seen cheaper, but I didn't want to risk prices going up.

I got ours last month. I was waiting and waiting on AirTran or SW to drop, but they were just going up and up. We usually pay around $650-$725 rt for all 4 of us. It was running around $1000+ this time. Someone on the DIS mentioned booking her flights with her WDW package and how it was cheaper that way. I knew I had priced them out with my packages in the past and they were always exactly the same as what the airlines were offering, but I thought what the heck and called WDW anyway. They were able to book us on AT for a total of $830 rt for the 4 of us. Not as good as what we are used to, but still better than over $1000. So I am happy with that. We sure didn't want to have to drive!

Wow! That's great! :cool1:

Wish I could find a fare like that out of the NJ/NY area. :worship:

Bought ours a month ago from Delta.

8/23-8/29. $1,000 r/t for the 4 of us from Boston, non-stop both ways.

7:00 am down and 6:00 pm back.

We usually fly Jet Blue but the prices were outrageous for some reason. They are normally the lowest price, especially direct.
