Wow - have I been out of the loop!
Here I am, rejoining my fellow crazy August people!
We've got our trip mostly locked down. Still not sure how we're going to do with 5 adults and 1 child sharing one cabin at Ft Wilderness, but at least we are eating in Signature restaurants every night...
I found a place that will deliver a 6 person golf cart right to our cabin, for less than the cost of renting a 4 person cart from Disney would be, so
on that. Now I'm in the process of finalizing my travel plans.
DH is sneaking off with DS7 early....they're taking the Autotrain down, and he is surprising him with a one night stay at the Contemporary in a Magic Kingdom view room...
Okay, so I'm a little jealous, but the CR is their favorite hotel and my little guy is a monorail freak. DH is a police officer and works crazy schedules, so this is really their first trip together alone...and who am I to begrudge them a little bonding time?
My parents are also taking the Autotrain down, but a day later. The plan was for my sister and I to fly both ways, but unless the prices come down, she and I will be taking the Autotrain one way with my parents and flying home. Flights on Friday morning are crazytown prices
, and I hate to waste the entire first day on travel, so the Autotrain may be our best bet.
Our trip is exactly 4 months away, so I'm in my happy place, no matter what.
