I'm in Monmouth County - near the beach.

We would probably stop for one night also, DH says he could drive straight through, but when we got there he would be too tired to have any fun. I know my 8yo would not want to spend our first day at Disney watching Dad take a nap! I would like to stop for the night about 4 hours from Disney, that way we could get up, have breakfast, hit the road and be at Disney by lunch time! Now I just need to figure out where 4 hours from Disney actually is!

If you are coming down 95, Savannah, GA is a good stopping point. It's about 4 hours away from WDW. And just an interesting note. I priced airfare for 4 using various travel sites, directly with the airlines and then I priced it on the WDW website as an addon to the package. It was $117 less on the Disney site for the same exact flights. I contacted my TA and she checked it out and it was true!!! Guess Disney had some kind of deal with the airline.

Our Jetblue flights dropped over $700. Should I book??

I would. Don't drive all that way with high gas prices and hotel rooms and road food both ways if you don't have to. It adds up. It usually only saves us like $600 to drive. Is it worth the hassle if you don't have to?

Add us....Aug 7 to th 14th hopefully at AKL Jambo House....that is if the owner of our timeshare doesn't cancel us! We bought off ebay back in December and now the seller disappeared! We still have our reservation but have had no contact with the seller since December. I needed to add the dining plan and now we are screwed for that addition.

Take me off the August wagon I just got word from my son's HS football coach that he has to be at mandatory practice the week we were planning on leaving. Hoping for FD for November AFTER football season and BEFORE baseball season! Soooo saddddddddddddd

I booked our flights and made a minor date change. Instead of going Sat to Sat we are now going Sun to Sun and that saved us an additional $200 on flights. Flight total for us 5 was a little over $1600 with Jet Blue which I love, they have non stop, great flight times, assigned seating, tv's and one free bag.
Soo excited!

Our flights started at $2500 so glad they dropped and we dont have to drive. Driving with 3 kids and one that is very active and 2 would not be fun.
