Hello my fellow August vacationers! Today was our magical 180 day window for booking ADRs. We do have the free quick service dining with our trip, but since our youngest is celebrating his 7th birthday while we're there, we decided to do some fun table service meals that day. We're booked for breakfast at 'Ohana and dinner at 50s Prime Time. Can't wait.

Plane tickets are purchased. ADRs are booked. Now I just need the next 180 days to FLY by!

We are also staying at Pop with free QS dining but I decided to upgrade to the basic dining plan. Had you considered upgrading from the QS dining plan to the basic dining plan? The cost to upgrade is the price difference between the two plans.

Since the price of both plans are the same for children ages 3 - 9, the upgrade would approximately cost an additional $264 ($11/adult (ages 9 and up)/night).

If my math is correct, the cost for your two TS meals is approximately (not including tax and gratuity):

O'Hana breakfast - $95.95 (4 adults @ $20.99 + 1 child @ $11.99)

50's Prime Time - $108.90 (5 meals with one entree, one dessert and one beverage @ $21.78/person - using the least expensive options on the menu)

Total TS cost (without tax and gratuity) - $204.85

So for an additional $59.15, your family could enjoy FOUR additional TS meals!

I did want to add that you would lose one snack per day and the refillable resort mug if you upgrade from QS to TS but it might be worth it to gain some additional TS meals.

Got online this morning at 6:30 am to make our ADRs. BTW - I love being able to make ADRs online. So much better than waiting on the phone

I was able to get ADRs at all the restaurants we wanted at the times that we wanted

This is what I got:

8/24 - 50's Prime Cafe @7:10 pm - we eat here on every trip
8/25 - Spirit of Aloha (category 2) @ 5:30 pm - first time
8/26 - Chef Mickey @ 7:30 pm - first time
8/27 - San Angel Inn @ 7:30 pm - first time

I'm getting hungry already

I got eveerything I wanted for a party of 8 yesterday morning. to say that this trip was supposed to be only my sister and I and ended up being sister, brother, cousin, friend myself and my triplets. I had the quilty concience and had to bring my girls again as if May wan't enough for them lol

Yes! Our flight gets in about 12pm and once we get to Pop I figure we can just snack and have an early dinner. O'hana was one of our favorites last time we went. I can't want to go again.
