We have never stayed at Pop, but have done values. We had a great time! This trip we are booked to PoFQ, wanted CSR, but couldn't get AAA discount there. The theming at PoFQ, not including the pool, seems a bit drab to me, but that is by photos only. I am hoping to love it once I get there. I think small kids would probably love Pop theming.

Also if your son hates to walk, I hope you take a stroller. It will help you from arguing with him all the time because he is too tired to walk. I have been there done that.

Boodked two studio rooms at Kidani Village for Aug 29 to Sep 5. About 8 of us going.

Son and I are going in Feb for Winter recess. 3 nights at SSR and 2 at Kidani. Looking forward to it.

I've made reservations for Aug.17-24, and requested a 1970's building.

Even though I have almost every aspect of my trip planned, I still bought the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2010. It's heavily laced with knowledge and wisdom. I get so excited reading it!

I highly recommend this book, even if you've already read all you think you need to know. Their version of the Guide with kids is also a very good read. Chapters.ca sells it for only $17.

And I had confirmation from a friend of a friend that they WILL start free dining that week. She was just there, and booked a "bounceback" (?) trip, with the reservationist confirming for her that she could repeat her free dining experience starting Sun, Aug. 15.

We'll be there 8/23-31!!! I scored a PIN, and was able to upgrade our room and add on 2 nights for $200 more than we origionally planned on spending! This is our 2nd time at AKL (DS loves it), and our first time in a Savannah view room!

At the minimum we are going 8/15-8/29, I booked bounceback FD
However, I am thinking about adding a few days...if I can swing it.

I am also playing with the idea of doing a split stay if the 4/3 offer is available during our time frame.

If it $$$ and deals allow I will do POR our first week, then the POLY our second.
I already have my parkdays and ADR's planned for both scenarios
Guess I am missing my disney!
