August 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

Yes it does look like they released a block of dates for that week for PF. I finally lucked out and got the time i wanted. I know, now if they will only release some for CM and i can get an early dinner time for my arrival date instead of the day after & I will be finally set. But I am happy right now anyway, that was very unexpected.

I have an early Chef Mickeys for that week but it is for 4 people and now there are for five of us. They won't add one person..so I'm hoping I can somehow get my dd in with us or dh or I will have to stay behind for that one.

Thats crazy you dont think they would let you in because of 1 extra person? Well my CM is for Aug 25 at 5:30. If they happen to release some dates or i am lucky enough to find a ressie for Aug 24 i will keep you in mind before i do anything. But that is a big If, so keep our fingers crossed.

I don't know if they would or not..I'm afraid to show up with 5 and be turned away. It's one of the busiest places. Would you keep me in mind if you see more open up? I guess the key is to keep checking! I'm on hold with them again waiting to ask.

It's easier to decrease by 1 than increase..I do know that.

I have an Ohana at 4:25 p.m. on Aug 26th for 5 people that i am willing to trade for Kona which i am looking for our last night dinner for Aug 28th between 4:30-5:30. I booked two Ohana's on different dates (i wouldnt mind going twice during our stay) but can trade for Kona for my second Poly dinner if someone is looking for that. Or i am also looking for Chef Mickey August 23rd at 4:30-5:00 for our arrival day which i can also trade for Ohana. If interested PM me and we can set up a time.

I was just looking for 'Ohana (I didn't find what is new) but did see openings at 1900 Park Fare at the GF in the 4:30 and 4:45 times on Aug. 24, 27 & 29 all for 4 people. Wanted to post incase anyone is looking.

Just wanted to thank you for the heads up! I just got the 4:30 for 2 people for August 27th! Coincidentally I just cancelled our 6:45 for the same night, also for 2 people, if anyone is looking for that time. We booked the later time planning to stay and watch Wishes from the GF beach, but have since booked the Wishes Dessert Party for the next night, so I'm glad to get an earlier time and avoid the crowd (and hopefully wait). Thanks again!

I just cancelled Cape May Cafe' for 7 on 8/24 at 5:40; finally got a 1900 for 4:35. I would prefer something a little later.

I also cancelled Fulton's for 7 on 8/26 at 7:00.

I'm sorry to hear that... I didn't think it would last long, but that did go fast! I almost booked it for myself (I have a 5:05 on 9/2 which I think is just a little too early), but then I remembered that 8/30 is Fantasmic night.

7:50 is too late for my guys, though.
