Was planning on going 17-27 but of course someone else picked those 2 weeks of vacation at my job so now I'm going the 7th-17th. POFQ Does anyone know when most of the schools go back down south. DD (6) is already planning how many trips we can make to Downtown Disney. She love riding the boat down. Now to wish the summer away. Hope to meet some wonderful people again.

i just did a search yesterday and looks like the schools over there go back on aug 18

Hey!!! Just couldn't wait to say (I sound like a cheerleader):yay: We are booking our trip August 21 - 30 Universal, Islands of Adventure, Aquatica AND DISNEY :cheer2: It was a close call but we voted this morning to include Disney this year. I'm very very happy!!:cloud9:

We'll be there 6th - 23rd August this year. We're going to try the Deluxe Dining Plan, I have spent an hour on the phone to member services today making our ADR's! We have been lucky enough to get into CRT for dinner and I can't wait for that.

We always go in August as being a teacher that is my main holiday, it is always hot and usually rains but we just put ponchos on and get on with it. It can also be very humid so light clothes and plenty of water help with that. We always get hoppers so we can go back and cool off in the afternoons.

We will be there August 15-24. We have been in July the last two years, and this is my first time in August. I am ready for hot, and am hoping for a little less crowds. July was pretty crowded last year. It was still lots of fun though. :yay:

We're all set to depart on August 20 for 5 nights! I caught a great deal on airfare and made all of our adr's, Yay! I finally signed up for the DIS, so it's official now! Great thread, great forum, it's so wonderful to have someplace to share my excitement and love for Disney and also learn a thing or two (thousand)! :cheer2: :cool1: :cheer2:

Welcome!!
This may help you get other stuff organized!! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1715551

:mic: We are booked at the POFQ for Aug 10th – 16th. For those who haven’t booked airfare yet (myself included) there is a website called kayak.com that checks all the airlines, then you can print the one you like best and then go book it yourself. A lot of people don't know this, but there's something called a "guaranteed airfare policy," where most airlines offer refunds or travel credits when fares drop below the price of a ticket purchased at an airline's Web site. Send yapta.com (stands for your amazing personal travel assistant) your itinerary and they'll tell you when there's a price drop. As long as you contact the airline while prices are at the lower level, you get the refund — in the form of credit — even if prices spike back up above your initial purchase price. I’m currently using both of these and they’re really cool.:cool1:
