August 2008 - who's going?

Driving down to Orlando on Aug 1, stayinf off site in Orlando the night of the 1st and going to stay at Port Orleans Riverside Aug 2-7. Our 12th anniv. is the 3rd. Have three kids--ages 9, 7, 6 at that time. We are very excited. This is our 2nd trip--last year we went in Jan/Feb and stayed 4 days/nights.

We've been looking into the Clearwater trip, and hopefully plan to stay at the Hilton Resort. May now not visit Busch at the same time, will return again maybe in the third week.

8/26-28 AKV Concierge (Sunrise Safari!)

I know, I know, it seems crazy. I wanted AKV concierge for 4 nights but it was not available until 8/26 so that is why the 2 different AKV ressies. Originally planned to arrive 8/24 and leave 8/31. Then found a good airfare but had to do 8/23 to 30 (both Saturdays). I could not pass up the savings because there are 7 of us going so it really adds up. So then I was stuck having to add rooms at the beginning as well as the end of the week. We are renting points for AKV so can't cancel or change that. Not the best plan but our family likes to resort hop anyway so we will be fine.

Ok so ya'll just took the words right from my fingertips!! I thought I was the only one waiting for the hours to be published. I have to know the hours so I can book our ADR's.....only 7 more days before I can do that but if I don't get the hours by then I will still be waiting....maybe impatiently by then!!!

Going August 16-24...it's been a looooong time since last
visit(Feb.'06) & I need some Mouse time!!!
My wife is not certain where she'd like to stay this time...
Poly again? Beach Club Villas? Contemp? ...all have their
pluses! Seems like it comes down to a monorail resort
(always fun) or walking distance factor to Epcot, Hollywood
Studios(formallt MGM) & the Boardwalk action at night from
the Beach Club...I don't care ...just get me there!!!

We will be going August 22-Sept 2 staying Yacht Club!!!!! Cant wait! I tried to book Wilderness Lodge, and was told it was booked solid (club level) Made me a bit nervous that it may be crowded! Cant wait!!!!

It should be either tomorrow or Monday (hopefully). If you are going the first week of August I think you you can expect the schedule to be the same as the end of July. It is the last half of August where it really changes, at least that is what it looks like for last year.
