pirate: Ahoy Matey! :boat:

Join the crew of the Wonder for: August 20th 2006!!! :grouphug:

We are signed up and excited about our 3rd outing on the wonder. Doing our own version of land /sea, for 2 weeks. ::MickeyMo Looking forward to meeting other Diser's and planning on something new for the excursions. Let's get this party started, got to count down those days. :hourglass We have a long wait ahead of us. :earseek: Lets share some new ideas.

:sunny: Now on with the cruise! :wizard: Mky princess:

We're in! :flower:

But we're doing WDW first. :earsboy:

Welcome, So glad someone else is coming on this cruise! We have been signed up for months, and then I posted this finally & no one ever responded I started to think we would be it for a long time. ;)

We too are doing disney. We are doing our "own" land / sea. pirate: / ::MickeyMo Going before & after the cruise, we prefer the "sandwich". ::MickeyMo

We did WDW after the last cruise, and found that we were still fighting sea legs and the "did too much/ate too much" feeling. This time, we decided to do the parks first, knowing that we can take a slower pace on the cruise to recover a little.

How do you do with the "Sandwich"? Do you feel like you lose too much time in transition, or do you figure that the park is a stop on your way to & from the ship? :confused3

We are annual passholders so we do wdw a little slower now. But this time our sandwich will be off-kilter 3 days before & 2 weeks after. With that amount of time at wdw, we can take our time and do a slow relaxed pace. The 3 days before let you unwind from work & your down there so your not worried about flying in the day of or the nite before. We usually try for the wonder cruise somewhere more in the middle, but wanted to do the 4 day and wanted to do it earlier in the cruise than the 2nd week. Mostly because WDW will be less busy at the end of august than the middle. ;)

Actually the cruise is a stop for us. We looked into a "beach day" place a few times. Or went to universal for a few days for a change of pace but always returned missing something. Then we thought we would try out the 3day. I had cruised ncl years ago and really did not like it, so was not expecting much but we where really happy with dcl. It was a great beach day we where looking for, and found so much we where not expecting. :) It combines a great cruise with our love of disney so best of both worlds so far. We thought of taking the magic last year but cancelled and changed to the wonder again, just not sure we would be as happy with the formal week long cruise.

:earsboy: Finally decided to book it :thumbsup2 .

We're in for the August 20 cruise.
We take a Florida Holiday from the 13th till the 30th of August :sunny:.
I've decided to book this cruise as a surprise package for the family :rolleyes1 (not sure if I'll be able to keep it a secret..., maybe it's even a bad idea...?)

See you all and greetings from Belgium...

Thanks Eldee for pointing me this way.

I am booked too!!! :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

First cruise - can;t wait!!!

I'm taking the 8/20 4 day Wonder cruise with my niece--for her 10th birthday. Can't take too much time off, but we will be arriving a day early and staying a day later. Won't be doing the parks though. Been to DW many times, first time on Disney cruise. Last cruise I went on was Carnival. This will be nieces first cruise though. Anyone else traveling with kidlits?

Happywanderer -

I have a DD (12) who I would love to assure that there will be other kids her age there. 10 is close enough!!

--my niece's name is Caitlin, and she's mostly very outgoing, especially with other kids. She also loves crafts, painting, and drawing. I hope they do alot of stuff like that in the club. I myself will just be trying to relax. :)

I'll be traveling with my 3 DD's: 6 ::MinnieMo , 12 pooh: and 15 :tink: . They are all Dutch speaking, I'll hope the language won't be too much of a barrier...

My daughter would love to learn Dutch!!!! Sounds like there will be a least a few of them. Maybe as we get closer, we can exchange emails. My daughter is a little shy but loves learning about other countries and really wants to travel.

Hello Everyone!

It's wonderful to hear that people come from all over the world to experience these cruises! We too are booked for the Aug. 20 Wonder trip. This is our very first cruise and we're all excited. We have two DD's 10 and 12 and I am relieved to hear there are others out there who will be on board. I worry that my 12 year old (she'll be 13 in November) will be o.k., being on the borderline of teen and not-a-teen but I have faith in Disney! Has anyone had experience with this age group on one of these cruises? Is there a tween out there who can advise how they liked the cruise? :goodvibes
