Ed, Andy and I are going to have one heck of a shrimp fest!! And you are invited!!!! Shades of "By invitation only!"

Rae.... just let me know when and where!! Embarkation lunch sounds like a good place........... and we can wash 'em down with orange mango soup!! Oh, oh.......... I'm making myself hungry.

Ed

Hey I'm in for shrimp and Mango soup at sailaway. Rae and I will defend the shrimp bowl from all those not on this thread. We are willing to share with 600+ people but not 2400. So we'll be able to have plenty.

Lovely 4th yesterday, but today is hot and humid. Good for inside work but not outside. Luckily the lawn was done yesterday.
Check out the thread from Suzanne. They have really good news.
Talk to you all later. Estelle

Well everyone,
So far so good. Looks like this blighted ovum was a misdiagnosis. Saw the heart beat this morning... still really early days and we could loss this baby at anytime,,,, but your prayers, pixie dust and happy thoughts seems to have touched us with some magic!!!
Me... I'm an emotional wreck.... first it was thought I'd lose my tube due to Ectopic pregnancy, next we are told there is an egg sac but no fetus..... and to expect a miscarriage., So we grieve all weekend and anticipate the inevitable!!!! Only to have another Ultrasound today and see a heart beat!!!! I am sooooo confused. I don't know how to feel or what to feel or what to do for that matter. So it looks like we may still be onboard for the cruise.... keep your fingers crossed for 4!
Thanks to all of you! I am forever grateful for your kind words and support!
Hugs....
Suzanne:wave:

Suzanne - That's great news! We are thinking of you and praying everything goes fine from now on!

Paul

Excellent Suzanne. Maybe all these prayers are working. Keeping my fingers crossed, my toes, my legs, my arms, well......you get the picture.

Thats why its called the "practice" of medicine!

anyway, prayers with you and hopeful baby! :)

Hope you all had or are having a great holiday weekend. I worked July 4th & we had lots of food & not a lot of patients & deliveries so it turned out to be a good day. It is REALLY hot :sunny: in New Jersey. It feels like the hottest day so far this summer. You can feel the heat & moisture as soon as you go out.

SUZANNE: I am so happy for you. Maybe there is a little angel:angel: looking out for your little angel:angel:.

Just wanted to pop in & say "HI" I went & sat with my mom today & need to do the same thing tomorrow so no computer access:sad2: My daughter goes back to California on Wednesday & I guess will start making her wedding:bride: plans. Hope you all have a great week. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Suzanne....what great news!! God Bless the little one...with all of our prayers and pixie dust, hopefully, we'll get to meet him or her. I know you will have plenty of babysitters so you and Michael can have some well deserved time off!! Please keep us updated and we will keep you in our prayers!! Mary Jo

Count me in for this cruise too! GREAT thread. Just found it.
We'll be 6 adults and two kids (9 and 6)...Deck 6 verandah cabins all around. CAN'T WAIT

Hello Mboothby and welcome aboard. Glad you can join us; but you can't just jump right in. You must first read this entire thread. Jazzman will quiz your on Wednesday.;) ;)

Mark

Welcome Mbooth!

Count me in for a book swap, I was JUST shopping for some paperbacks for our upcoming trip and I wondered how I would bring enough books to read on the California cruise. I think a book swap is a fabulous idea!

Suzanne, it was nice to read some good news, thanks!

We had a nice holiday weekend. We set up my new tent this weekend and slept in the backyard. What adventurers we are!

A four day week - what a treat! Enjoy!

Robin

Well maybe Grumbo can give you the highlights of the thread if you don't think you're up to the task;) . I quess they won't be counting you in for the book swap either . You won't know about the drinking problems of Jazzman and Grumbo and others who shall remain nameless, or the deal on lodging before the cruise. You'll never know about Verandah Man's special T-shirt offer or door magnets or our group outing to Costco, sponsored by Grumbo's wife. You won't know to be looking for your very own *glass* of Zinfandel or to have your group's photo posted on Three circle's site either. That's o.k. though, it's like going into a movie 15 minutes late and having to ask those around you, " what'd I miss?"

As you can tell by now, we're a little *different* on this thread. No flaming, no bitterness, just a bit off color, ( uh, colour Grumbo) I'd at least skim over if I were you, there's some pretty good reading there...Mark

I have been in Indianapolis for the last 11 days and just caught up on 24 pages of this thread.:chat: :chat: :chat:

Suzanne: What a roller coaster for you and Michael to be going through. Keep us posted! I will say a prayer for your unborn babe. I am sending huge amounts of pixie dust for your familyprincess:

Back to work tomorrow! Now I can start looking forward to WDW in a few weeks and the Pacific Northwest DISmeet in a couple of weeks.

I will be checking Jason's sight for more family photos.

I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July!

Don't forget to tell Mbooth to send me the membership fee!

Do you guys want to do the cruise exchange relatively soon? I just got something interesting for whoever I'll be exchanging with.

Never mind the reading! You gotta see the pictures!

Word of Warning! Don't have any drinks on hand and make sure you go to the bathroom prior to any attempt at reading/seeing this thread!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Plus don't fret about Grumbo Quizzing you just yet! Haven't they left for their vacation?

More daydreaming about our trip next year ...

We're planning to spend 2/3 days at Disneyland/DCA before moving to the Holiday Inn San Pedro the day before the cruise. Any hotel recommendations in the area of Disneyland other than the "on-site" ones. The cost of staying there (after exchange) will use up a high percentage of my onboard bar budget!:teeth:

We haven't decided whether to rent a car in California or not, so something that may have a shuttle is a "nice-to-have" option.

Thanks for your help!

Arlene

Mboothby,
I've been on since day one....and I haven't read all the posts !!!! I'm a big loser. But I do want to get the book swap thing going...should we all post what we intend on bringing, how do we handle this ? I'm thinking about one month before, post what we're willing to donate, then go from there. That gives all of us plenty of time to shop. Trust me, you don't want to be around me if I don't have reading material. Have any of you read "Other People's Lives" by Michael Korda ? He discusses an out of books experience, wouldn't want to imitate it.
